A Fatal Error

Chapter 2

Nightmare, Dream and Error are all still asleep and cuddling each other on the couch. Error is still using Nightmare's lap as a pillow and Dream is slumped against Nightmare. Nightmare has fallen on his side in his sleep but he has a tentacle around Dream.
They've been laying like this for hours, not even waking up to the loud crash that came from Blue tripping and falling down the stairs.
It's resulted in comments and pictures from the entire family and even posts on social media like Instagram.
  Dream shifts in his sleep and ends up falling on his side as well, subconsciously cuddling Nightmare like he did when they were younger.

  I yawn and stretch as I wake up, sleepily rubbing my eye sockets. I feel something soft and boney under me. But why? I look down and that's when I realize I had been using Nightmare's lap as a pillow and quickly sit up, still tired.
  Upon closer inspection I see Dream is finally asleep. Nightmare must've forced the issue. Waiting for a bit cause I'm lazy at the moment I eventually wander into the kitchen to get some food and a chocolate milkshake with espresso in it.
  I normally don't put espresso in my milkshakes but I refuse to drink coffee and need something to help me wake up. Stumbling a little due to being tired I manage to make myself a bowl of chocolate Mini Wheats before grabbing my milkshake and going back to the living room, sitting down on one of the unoccupied couches.
But why do I feel like I'm being watched? Is someone using a viewing portal? Who would spy on us? The whole Multiverse is on our side now. It's probably nothing. I should just ignore it and keep eating. Oh how wrong I am.
  Fatal!Error internally chuckles as he watches Error eat. He learned a lot about Error and knows he loves drinking chocolate milkshakes so he spiked Error's drink with something that will knock him out for at least a day or two.
  He waits and waits and waits and finally he sees Error fall asleep, catching the now empty cup with his strings and throwing it into a random AU so he doesn't alert anyone to his presence. He silently curses when he sees Dream with Nightmare.
BrOtHeR. DrEaM. P-PoSiTiVe. DiSgUsTiNg. NeEd OtHeR oNe. NeEd NiGhTmArE. WaIt. GaStEr GaVe SoMeThInG. He SaId It CaN sUrRoUnD dReAm In So MuCh PoSiTiViTy He WoN't WaNt To WaKe Up. PeRfEct.
Fatal!Error pulls the device out of his inventory. Gaster named it Positivity Trap but he likes calling it a Positivity Cage. They both mean practically the same thing after all. He activates the device and soon enough Dream stops moving all together except for his now tremendously slowed down breathing due to how relaxed he is.
He hides the device behind a painting on the wall before turning his attention to Nightmare. Fatal!Error knows he has to make this quick otherwise one of the others will come in the room and ruin his plan. Thinking quickly he grabs Nightmare with his strings and starts dragging him through a portal.
Horror walks in the room just in time to see Nightmare get dragged through Fatal!Error's portal. "NIGHTMARE!" He screams as he starts crying, knowing the dad of the family has been kidnapped and won't be there for a while.
I don't stir and neither does Dream. Fatal!Error knew what he was doing so now both of us are out of commission. Dream reeks of positivity though. It's abnormally high.
The others come rushing in, Hearts whimpering and covering his nonexistent ears due to all the noise.
Pup notices and gently pulls Hearts into a hug, rubbing his spine to try and help him relax. He already knows something is terribly wrong but he knows how Hearts gets when things get loud and he doesn't want him to have a breakdown.
Dust walks up to Horror and gets pounced into a hug by the still crying skeleton. "Shh. Shh. It's okay. It's okay. You're safe. Tell us what happened."
Horror is too upset to talk, sobbing and whimpering with no end in sight. It takes a lot of effort but he manages to stutter out two words before breaking down again. "N-Nightmare's g-gone...."
The rest of the family looks shocked. Nightmare gone?! How could this be? Who did this?! And why did they decide they needed to capture the God Of Negativity?! Did they want to use his power for their own benefits or did they just need leverage?!
  It isn't long before tears and sobbing are the only things anyone cares about, grieving the loss of Nightmare since he's never been taken before and they don't know if he'll be okay.
  Blue goes to Dream and Error for comfort but notices something. "Dream and Error aren't waking up!" He rushes over to Error and shakes his shoulder. "Error! Error?! Come on! Wake up please! You can't give up now!"
  Dust uses blue magic to bring Blue into a hug, soothing the now sobbing Blueberry and rubbing his spine. "Shh. Shh. It'll be okay. We'll get them to wake up."
  Blue looks up at Dust. "P-Promise?"
  Dust gives him a soft smile. "Promise."
  Blue yawns, exhausted from crying so much and quickly finds himself wrapped in a blanket and on a couch, Dust's lap as his pillow. He normally says something about sudden moves but he's too tired to care and quickly falls asleep.
  Meanwhile, Fatal!Error is using Nightmare's fear about the situation he's in to power another machine Gaster gave him called the Fear Giver. Unoriginal name but it does it's job. Once the machine is ready he fires it and Nightmare.
  Nightmare drops down to the ground, screaming and crying. "AAAHHHH!! NO! PLEASE!!! DON'T DO IT! DREAM!" He turns passive due to his emotions being all over the place thanks to the hallucination.
  Fatal!Error summons a bone attack and snaps it in half so he has a sharp end. He quickly approaches Nightmare and begins his attack, ignoring the screams that he's heard so many times from his victims with practiced ease. It'S aLl FoR pApYrUs. THEY DoN't MaTtEr.
