Chapter 1 Run Away

"Dad I know you love me but it's not right to decide who I want to marry" Lexy

"I know that my princess. I think that it is the best for you. After all it's just a marriage" Lexy's dad Jason

"Just a marriage! Dad did you here what you just said. One thing is for sure you and mom fell inlove with each other and marry her right? Ganun din ang gusto kong mangyari sa buhay ko dad to fell inlove and marry the person that I love. I can't just marry some random guy" Lexy

"Lexy the one that your going to marry is a good guy. Tsaka ipapakasal ka ba namin ng mom mo sa taong hindi kami sure na mapapasaya ka niya at aalagaan ng mabuti?" Jason

"Honey let's stop this topic for now. Tutal hindi ka pa naman pumapayag sa agreement hindi ba? Tsaka Lexy is still young. Pag usapan na lang ulit natin to bukas okay?" Lexy's mom Lara

"Mom is right dad and if you still insist marrying me to that person dad. One things for we will just hurt each other and dad wala sa plano ko ang magpakasal sa taong hindi ko kilala lalong lalo na sa taong ni minsan hindi ko mahal. Good night mom and dad" Lexy

Lexy's Pov

Andito ako ngayon sa kwarto gumugulong gulong sa kama. Nakakainis kasi si dad it's been a week na laging itong topic na to ang pinag aawayan namin. Pinipilit niya ako magpakasal. I just think that marrying someone isn't easy specially to someone you don't know. For me marriage is a sacred thing. Pledging your love infront of a priest inside the church is the happiest moment.

I know dad will still insist me in marrying. But I will not let it happened and I will find that guy who really loves me for who I am despite my imperfection in myself, status and attitude. I'm sure there's still a guy like that. I will not allow my parent's to ruin my life. I need to pack my things and every important papers for my school and other things. I still have the credit card that dad gave to me when I was eighteen. Aalis ako sa bahay na ito bukas na bukas din bago sumikat ang araw.

It's already 4:00 o'clock in the morning. Dahan dahan akong bumaba ng bahay para umalis na. Gantong oras ay tulog pa ang mga katulong namin. Inikot ko ng dahan dahan ang door knob until I open and close the door. I run faster and climb our gate then stand in front of our house.

"Mom and dad sorry for doing this but I just can't do what your asking from me" I said those words while crying and walk away. I know someday you will forgive me for doing this.

I believe that everyone of us had an imaginary "Red string". That " red string" means the connection between the two opposite gender that is fated to love. I believe that the two opposite gender that is not connected by that "red string" and love each other will only harm themselves.

That's why I leave everything and run away to my parents. To find the person who is connected to my red string.
