Have you ever wondered what it would be like to never see color again? To some, it's as if all light in your life suddenly disappeared. After an incident in my life, I could only see life as if it meant nothing, the only thing that kept me alive was the family and my childhood friend that saved me.

A girl in bandages stands near the edge of the hospital roof, her long rose gold hair blows with the wind, her hospital gown follows the wind. She looks as if she was pondering life, 'was it worth living? Do I need to live after what I went through? Should I have died?' The Rosette steps closer to the edge.
A girl that seems to look like a boy runs as fast as she can up the stairs, she remembers what happened seconds ago. A girl with short brown hair with slight bandages on her arms and face walks to her best friends room, Avery Lune Kudou, who just survived something that they promised never to be in light. The brownette knocks on her door and calls out, "Avery it's me Mew." when the girl received no reply she opened the door only to see that the rose gold haired girl was nowhere to be seen. This concerned the brunette the only thing she could think of was the roof. 'Please please please don't do it.' As she opens the door yelling at the same time, "AVERY DON'T DO IT!" Light shining in her eyes not knowing what her friend is doing, only to see her whip around hair flowing behind her. Once the light subsided she could see that Avery was close to the edge as if the thought about it then gave up on the idea. All she could do was hug her friend.

Three years had passed since that happened. Avery's parents are overseas. My parents are with them. Emma, her little sister, and I have moved to a different town with new people and a new school to start over. Since the incident Avery hasn't been able to see color, so to make it easier we moved into a house right next to the high school. This year Avery and I will be Juniors while Emma will be a Freshman. Avery cut her long rose gold hair, now it touches her shoulders. Emma's darker rose gold hair is long now, it reaches the middle of her back. As for me, I still have my short brown hair. However I want to make Avery's life easier, since she doesn't show much emotion anymore, the wrong type of people often try to take advantage of her. So I see it as my duty to make her safe, so starting this year I won't be Mew Kino Monarch, now I'll be Asher Kino Manorah.
