my mom was offered a new job in new jersey ( which she obviously took) . i'm going into my junior year of high school and i'm moving all the way from ohio to new jersey and i'm pretty bummed about it. i'm excited to meet all of the new people at my new school and hopefully make great friends. today is the 5th of september and school starts on the 8th and that's pretty soon. my flight out of ohio is tomorrow morning and i still have so much left to pack.

i woke up at about 3:30 am to finish packing and get ready to leave because our flight is at 9:45 am. we packed everything into the taxi ( my dad had already driven the car to new jersey ) and right before i got into the taxi i was stopped by my neighbor. We used to be best friends before he blew up on tiktok and became popular at school and it was like he forgot all about me. He stopped me to ask for my new number so we could keep in contact so i gave it to him [ i really don't know why he's asking for my number like we're friends. he didn't even apologize to me 🙄]. We are now on our way to the airport. we got there and we went through security then got some breakfast and snacks for the plane. we arrive at the newark airport and we are picked up by my dad and make our way to the new house. i was starting to get really excited at this point

we made it to the house i dropped all of my stuff in the living room and ran to my room to see what it looked like and it was WAY bigger than my old one back in ohio. we settled in and started unpacking a few things, set up a couple of pieces of furniture including our beds. after we had finished it was about 10:30 pm and we decided to go out for dinner. we ended up just going to outback steakhouse and it was really good.

the school had sent me a list of things i needed to get. after we finished at target we went out for lunch at chick-fil-a. we went home and i got ready for school in the morning.
