Chapter 2

Next day

Jennie was busy in her room getting ready, she was at the mirror staring at herself inhaling and exhaling deeply.

Minutes later her mother knocked and went in.

"honey, you look great" her mother said, tearing up a little and went behind jennie

"wear this earrings, your father bought them" her mother said, gaving jennie a new pair of earrings. It was so beautiful and she knows it must have cost thousands.

She just smiled and nodded at her mom

"they'll be here in 5 minutes, ill just call you okay?"

"okay" jennie said softly her mother nodded and went out.

She looked at herself once again and started wearing the earrings, to be honest she wants to runaway and leave everything but she cant.

Her parents need her and she loves them even though they're doing this to her.

She looked out on the window, staring at the sky she felt relaxed for a moment.

Minutes later she heard a car stopping in front of their house, she looked at herself once again and sighed

This is it

She thought, she closed her eyes for a moment breathing deeply to calm herself down.

Then she heard her door swang open, hearing a gasp from an unknown voice. She opened her eyes and looked to see who it is.

There was a strange girl in her room, her skin was white, her eyes were twinkling, her long dark brown hair was a little bit wavy and her heart shape lips looks so soft. In short the girl was beautiful.

Jennie raised her brows at the girl, the girl just looked down and rubbed the back of her neck.

"im so sorry, they told me the bathroom was this way and theres so many doors and i didnt know. Im sorry" the girl said and jennie just nodded

"if your still looking for it, its the 2nd door at the right" jennie said smiling lightly at the girl, the girl nodded and smiled widely at her.

"thank you and sorry again" the girl said and bowed before leaving.

So shes the sister

She thought and looked back at herself, maybe rosé was right. She'll get along with the girl.

Her mother went to her room and asked her to come down, she nodded and fixed herself a little bit.

She was walking into the dining area and everyone stand up in their sits and bowed at her, she did the same.

Then her eyes saw the familiar girl who walked inside her room, the girl blushed a little making her smile.

"everyone, this is our daughter. Jennie kim" her father said proudly putting his arms around her shoulder, she bowed shyly.

"jennie kim, its nice to meet you. Im Dara" the older women said extending her arm, jennie reached for it and shaked their hands.

The mother

She thought, then suddenly a man was besides dara.

"finally we've met jennie, your father won't stop talking about you" the man said making jennie looked at her dad

Oh really?

She thought, seems her dad was excited about this whole marriage thing.

"im seung-hyun" the man said and grabbed jennies hand to shake it.

The father

She thought again, then suddenly the mysterious girl who walked in her room showed up and smiled at her.

"this is our daughter" seung-hyun said, jennie smiled

"we've met" jennie said, making their parents look at the two. The girl panicked and started explaining

"i just accidentally walked inside of her room" the girl said, the parents nodded.

"okay, now why don't you introduce yourself dear" seung-hyun said patting the girls back making her glare at him.

"im not a child dad stop it" the girl whispered but dara notices it, she made the two stop with her eyes.

Jennie notices it and saw how the girl and seunghyun went to joking around to scared.

"im kim jisoo" the girl, extending her arm at jennie, jennie didn't hesitate and grabbed it.

The sister

She thought, the two smiled at each other for a little bit until seung-hyun said something

"and the man of the hour" he said making the two girls pull away fron the hand shake, jennie notices a guy smiling widely and shyly.

"jennie kim, nice to meet you. Im kim seok-jin" the guy said

Oh you

Jennie thought again, seok-jin grabbed jennies hand and kissed it making her confused. She saw how their parents smile, so she just smile also.

All of them gets back on their sits, jennie sitted next to seok-jin because their parents said so. She didn't really liked it but she has to, suddenly a small smile formed in her lips when she saw jisoo sitting in front of her.

They started eating and asking questions about the two, thinking if they should take it slow or not.

Their parents wanted a wedding already but jin disagreed saying he wants to get to know jennie more.

Thank god

She thought again, then minutes later the parents was talking about business and companies. Jennie felt calm because for a moment its not about the two.

She was eating in peace until she felt someone kicked her foot, she looked below the table and saw jisoos feet swinging.

She must be bored

She thought again, she looked up at the girl and saw jisoo looking at her.

"sorry" jisoo mouthed quietly making jennie smile

"its okay" she mouthed back and jisoo smiled and nod

"boring" the girl mouthed again, secretly pointing at their parents making jennie giggled a little bit.

"i know" she said, the two giggled at each other and continued eating.

They would often steal glances at each other making them smile everytime one of them is caught.

Chaeyoung was right, maybe if shes starting to like jisoo then maybe she'll like the whole family. Especially the guys shes going to marry.
