I laid in bed with Lavi curled up in my side. I had my arm around his shoulders as he stared at the wall across the way.
"Emily? Do you love for who you am or for your chess piece?"
I froze at Lavi's question. I rolled over, pissed.
"Did you really just ask me that?"
There was shuffling behind me. Then an arm draped over my waist and his chin settled on my shoulder.
"Well, ever sense last night I was thinking about it and I wanted to make sure you really loved me."
I sighed flipping over. I looked into that one green eye, then at the eye patch. I reached up to the eye patch, Lavi visibly flinched.
"Calm down, I'm just checking something."
He nodded and wrapped his arms around my waist. I settled myself next to him and reached up to the patch. Slowly I pulled it off.
"Holy shit I was right."
Lavi looked at me frowning.
"Emily what are you talking about?"
I shook my head holding up two fingers and covering his other eye.
"How many fingers am I holding up?"
He growled. "How am I supposed to know you covered up my good eye?"!
I frowned removing my hand. Lavi looked at me confused.
"What were you trying to do?"
I scrambled out of the bed, agian pissed because I didn't do anything to recover his eyesight.
"Nonthing, just get dressed, you and Allen start training today."
I threw on a black v-neck, but stopped when I noticed a giant bruise on my collar bone. I knew I didn't get hit last night. I quickly put pants on and ran down the hall. Tyki could reach in and see what's up.
I went to turn into the dinning hall but ran into Toraido. He looked down at me confused.
"Hey what's up?"
He asked. "Just trying to figure out were Tyki is."
He sighed, pointing into the dinning hall. I walked into it as my eyes flashed red. Great.
"Tyki! I need you real quick."
He shivered, making me laugh. I walked over to him and sat on the table in front of the boy.
"Don't need to be frightened. I just wanted to give my pawn a reward.".
He raised his eyes brows. I chuckled
"I'm also thirsty."
"And there's the catch."
Tyki yelled as he tried to run away. I chuckled and grabbed his wrist. I yanked him back as Allen came strutting in with Kanda and Lenalee. Tyki smirked as he realized are faces were only an inch apart.
"So you want my blood Emily?"
I sighed as my eyes flashed again. My grip started to weaken.
"That or come hunting with me."
He hummed.
"Do I still get my reward if we go hunting?"
I smirked.
"Nope, only if I get some of your blood."
His smiled fell as he sighed. Tyki then tilted his head to the side, moving his hair and leaning down. I smiled and leaned in, barring my fangs. But a image flashed in my head making me stop.
•Memory•
I sat on the vintage couch a book in hand. Neah sat at the white piano playing a beautiful song that his mother taught him. He calls it The Fourth tenth song. I hummed the lyrics as his fingers danced around the keys.
"Neah?".
The music stopped as he looked over at me.
"Yes, darling?"
My breathing hitched.
"Do you really love me?"
He stood up frozen. Then he snapped back in realization.
"Yes, of course I do."
I frowned.
"Then why don't you introduce me to the family?"
He sighed. "Emily it's because-."
"There stone hearted killers, I know."
His fist clenched but then relaxed.
"Then why do you ask me?"
I sighed closing my book. Standing I made my way to the door.
"Because I know nothing about you."

I snapped back in reality and pulled away from Tyki's neck. My head hurt and my neck stung.
"You okay there?"
My head snapped towards the doorway to find Wisely clenching his head. I snickered.
"So your seeing my flashbacks Wisely?"
He groaned banging his head on the doorframe.
"Yeah, what are they for?"
I shrugged leaning my head on Tyki's shoulder. Then I remembered something. I popped up and looked Tyki straight in the eye as a Lavi and Allen walked up to us.
"What is it this time?"
Tyki asked. I frowned avoiding his gaze.
"Well ummm, I think something is embedded into my shoulder."
He lifted his eyebrows up.
"What?"
I looked over at Lavi as I grabbed the cloth and showed them the bruise. Fingers brushed over it as I looked at Tyki.
"This isn't a regular bruise. Did the Ancients touch you or do anything yesterday?"
"No, they didn't."
He hummed. "Is there anything different in your everyday routine?"
I frowned as Neah walked over to the small little crowd. The rest of the Noah Family along with Kanda and Lenalee stood at the end of the table.
"Well I'm sleeping agian. Also I would want to feed one minute and the next it's repulsive."
Tyki frowned looking at Neah.
"Anything else?"
They asked. I froze but soon relaxed.
"I'm having flashbacks."
Tyki sighed, his face relaxing.
"It seems the lovely Ancients put a spell on you. Somebody call Cross, Bookman, Komui and Tiedoll. They can figure this out."
I felt helpless but nodded. Tyki stood, ruffling my head along the way and walked off. Arms wrapped around my torso and pulled me into a hug. Lavi cupped my cheek and rested his forehead on mine.
"Your going to be okay, I promise."
His voice cracked. I wrapped my arm around his neck.
"I fucken hope so, Lavi."
He pecked my forehead, then leaned into the crook in my neck.
