'I can't find the remote, any idea where it is?'

I sent the message.

Within seconds she responded:

'Have you tried looking under the sofa?'

I sighed a big breath of relief.

I waited a couple seconds before I said:

'Found it, thanks babe.'

Just to be sure I asked:

'Where are you?'

I saw the text bubbles come up, then they disappeared.

'I'm at Kara's house, we're just hanging out and eating snacks.'

I smiled to myself.

'Doing anything else interesting?'

I could practically hear her giggle.

'We're watching a movie, that's not really interesting but yeah, why?'

'Just curious.'

Then the text bubbles came up, disappeared, then came back up.

'Get off the news channel, I'm fine.'

I raised my eyebrow.

'How did you know that I was on the news channel?'

'Kara was literally just on the same channel, those poor girls.'

'Yes, those poor girls.'

'Did you lie so you could talk to me?'

'Yes 🥺'

'I'll be back home in a couple hours, in the meantime, watch tennis or something.'

I chuckled.

'Yes ma'am.'

I went to the sports channel, wondering if the channel was even showing tennis at the moment.

Sadly, it was showing baseball.

I'm not interested in baseball.

I sighed, putting my head on my hand, bored.

Alright, a couple hours, you can do this.

*Four hours later*

I looked at my watch, worried about y/n.

I was pacing back and forth around the living room, my breath racing.

Where is she? She should be home by now.

I ran my hand through my hair, making my hair all messed up, the top button on my shirt unbuttoned, because I was getting warm from pacing around too much.

Then I froze in my tracts, hearing the door open and shut.

Then Bear got up and he ran to the door.

"Babe!" I heard y/n's voice say.

I sighed in relief as I slowly walked to the door.

"Hey." I said.

She looked at me.

"Aww."

"Look at your hair it's all messed up." She said, coming up to me, ruffling my hair up even more.

She giggled before she kissed me.

"You must've been really worried about me, were you?" She asked.

"I said that I would miss you." I said.

"You didn't say that you'd be worried about me." She said.

"Exac-" I was cut off.

"And you were." She cut me off, placing her finger on my lips.

"How can you tell?" I asked.

She giggled "Your hairs messed up, your top button is unbuttoned, and the way you texted me, admitting that your were worried about me."

I smiled.

"Noo." I said, my lips curving into a slight smirk.

"Yeeessss." She said softly before she kissed me again.

"I missed you too." She said into the kiss.

She put her arms up on my shoulders and I put my hands on her waist, pulling her closer.

Bear stood up on his hind legs, putting his front paws on our legs.

She pulled away and she smirked, she took her finger and she ran it along my jawline.

I smiled widely at her.

I kissed her cheek and she giggled.

"Come on." I said, picking Bear up and taking him back to the living room.

I smiled as I sat down on the couch, holding and petting Bear on my lap.

"You seem at peace now." She said, crossing her arms and smirking.

I chuckled.

"When I'm not with you I lose my mind." I smiled.

"I know." She smiled.

She sat down next to me and she started petting Bear as well.

I smiled at her, leaning over and kissing her cheek.

She giggled.

I smiled as I caressed her cheek with the back of my hand.

"I love you." I said.

She looked up at me and she smiled.

"I know."

I raised my eyebrow.

"I love you too." She smiled.

"You better." I joked.

She giggled.

"I do I promise!" She smiled.
