after talking to ned MJ was depressed about the decision she made about peter and believed flash that peter hated her if he hated her then why did he kisses and smiled why was he on cloud nine if he hated her but her mind was not thinking about that when flash said peter hated her and ned

but Ned being his best friend didn't believe flash and knew that the world can end tomorrow and peter will spend that whole day with ned 

but she believed flash and then the very next day she left with Brad for Nevada

when she came back she saw ned and peter, the first thing she noticed was Peter was banged up, and ned was disappointed, but after some time when she came to know why peter was not picking up her calls and why he was absent she cried she cried that she lost the one person who she liked a lot then after taking to may she decided about becoming friends with peter again and then becoming his best friend again

she was on this when she stumbles on 2 people dressed in black who were clint and Natasha both were bleeding and limping and hiding when she helped them 

from then they met regularly and become friends and they offered her a job in SHIELD and trained her in fighting and tracking she become more observant and then start working with SHIELD, and start training about how to infiltrate the enemy base and how to become more observant 

this helped her in observing peter more, she observed one thing that ned and peter understand each other that much that they can talk with their expressions only peter look at ned and ned got excited and peter got excited, and then peter changes his expressions and ned goes into deep thinking mode then raise one eyebrow and peter smirks and then they were back to classes it been a long time she even talked to peter, ned and even may being kept her busy

meanwhile, peter and ned both were on a bet on who can hack into SHIELD without getting caught and snoop around ned and peter hacked in both did it under a min but ned did it in a whooping 40 sec while it took peter 55 sec 

so it was a normal snooping around when they both stumble upon MJ's profile as an agent, both of them were on high alert from then on Ned especially he didn't know about that and when peter showed Ned about spider as their wanted list and marked as a menace and a potential threat and they were sending agents after him, and there were media reports about him how much damage he had caused to the city it was around few 100 million 

it was the end of the year 

"Ned there is nothing about the people I saved, there is the only thing that shows the damage I have caused there is no testimony of the people I save in that time," Peter said 

"So, SHIELD is behind everything from running your name slowly and spreading, fake rumors man they never going to change," Ned said 

"from now on spiderman will be the least of their worries," peter said 

"aah... what are you going to be," Ned asked

"I will be selling my planes blueprints to the US army," peter said 

"and what about the prototype," Ned asked

"I will be keeping those, and I have to just put more fuel-efficient and more powerful engines, and we are all set," peter said

"and how are we going to sell it," Ned asked

"May will help us in it," Peter said

then they wrapped it up and came out of the lab and peter went to talk to May about it
