Her furrowed gaze
Made my haste
To her side
Where I stole an embrace
Then she smiles
She give chase
As I spun and run
Not from her
But towards the sun
The crunch of the leaves
Beneath my bare feet
Gives me delight
Above us cerulean skies
Oh what a sight
As the wind whip tenderly
Through her long chocolate tresses
Her carefree laugh
Bear away any stresses
Sounding like a mother's lullaby
Placating a baby's cry
Gentle to the ears
Soothing to the soul
As if my heart has been freed
From a rigid hold
Her scent wafts through my nose
Fresh, clean and summery
As my pace slows
I turn around and regard her intently
That's when I realized
That I love her ardently
