"What's up?" He asked and moved it to the sidewalk. Bill grabbed his own bike.

"W-Well I was wondering how you'd re-react if I told you that I know a person who has a really b-b-bi-big cr-crush on you," Bill replied. Richie stopped moving.

"Do you?" He asked.

"D-Do I what?" Bill asked with a smirk. Richie rolled his eyes.

"Know a person who has a really big crush on me?" He asked.

"I might," Bill replied with a shrug. Richie frowned.

"You might?" He questioned.

"Yes. I might. I also might know that they'll be at the arcade, tomorrow at around f-five o'clock. Goodbye Richie." Bill said and hopped on his bike, leaving Richie the most confused he's ever been.

"(Y/n), there's a phone call for you! She says her name is Beverly!" You heard your (g/n) shout from the kitchen. You stood from your bed, slightly confused as to why Beverly would call you.

"Coming (g/n)!" You shouted. You slowly walked down the stairs and sighed as you picked up the phone.

"Hey, Bev." You said.

"(Y/n), guess what!" The other end shouted. You raised your eyebrow.

"What?" You asked.

"Okay, so today, someone told me that they had the biggest crush on you!" She shouted. You stood up straight.

"Wait, really? Who?" You asked. You heard her laugh.

"I can't tell you, but I can tell you that they want to meet you at the arcade tomorrow at around five o'clock." She replied.

"Seriously Beverly? Can't you just-"

"Sorry (Y/n) gotta go, bye!" Beverly rushed out. Before you could tell her to wait, the other line went dead. You groaned and placed the receiver back. Who the hell had a crush on you?

You swallowed the lump in your throat as you opened the glass door of the arcade. Your breathing grew as you walked in. You were given no information whatsoever on this boy who had an "immense" crush on you. It was scary and somehow, you found yourself making a checklist of what he had to be like if you were to date him.

A sense of humor, that was a must. He couldn't be offended easily, but easily the one to offend. You could definitely overlook it if he didn't have any fashion sense. Glasses would be a big plus. You could slip them off and wear them just to tease. He needed to get along with your friends, but not too much, of course. He could, under no circumstances, have less than a shaggy haircut. Kind of like... Richie's.

Richie. That's all you were doing. Describing Richie. You had just told yourself that you wouldn't date this person if they weren't Richie. It was stupid, you knew that, but still. You could have your hopes, right? You sighed and sat on the twisty seat by the countertop, leaning your head on your arms.

"(Y/n)?" A familiar voice asked. You looked behind you and smiled.

"Hey, Richie." You replied. He returned the smile and sat on the seat next to you.

"I never took you as someone to play in the arcade." He said. You laughed and shrugged.

"I dabble, but that's not why I'm here today." You replied. He raised his eyebrows.

"You're not at the arcade to play arcade games?" He asked. You laughed again.

"I'm here to meet someone. Beverly told me that a guy had a huge crush on me and wanted to meet me here. Although, I'm beginning to think he stood me up." You answered. Richie scoffed.

"Are you kidding me? Any guy would be lucky to have a person like you. And besides, at least you were assured that he'd be here. Bill just said there might be a person who had a crush on me here today." Richie explained. A sudden look of confusion crossed over your features.

"Wait, Bill told you that someone who had a big crush on you would be here?" You asked. Richie nodded and you slowly realized what your friends had done.

"My God, I'm an idiot!" You said and facepalmed.

"Why?" He asked. You sighed.

"I'm that person. Bill told you that a person with a big crush on you would be here and Beverly told me that a guy with a big crush on me would be here and I believed her and now I've just been manipulated into admitting my feelings for you." You replied, not even stopping to take a breath. You could feel Richie staring at you.

"Well thank fuck for that! I was beginning to think that there really wasn't a person who had a huge crush on me. And I'm even more thankful that it was you. I wasn't sure I'd be able to reject them." He said with a sigh of relief. You stared forward.

"But since I'm your friend, it's easier to reject me." You assumed.

"What? No. Of course not! Since you're the person I've been crushing on for a year, it's easier for me to ask you out." He replied. You looked at him, eyes wide and heart thumping.

"Seriously?" You asked.

"Yes." He replied. You smiled and looked at your feet. His hand slowly reached for yours and he entwined your fingers together.

"I totally get why Beverly ships us. We make a bomb ass fucking couple."
