I became lost in a swirl of anxiety. My breathing increased, my heart was going through my chest. Of all the times, it just had to be now. I began to loose any breath I was able to swallow, and I felt my legs getting weak. Why did she have to leave me? I focused on keeping standing, pushing all my body weight on the rails. My eyes began to drop, as the anxiety felt like I was drowning, only in a sea of people. I couldn't do this, not anymore. As my knees gave up, tears basically streaming down my face, I began to fall into the crowd. This was it. The anxiety attack that would kill me. I slipped out of consciousness. Then, I woke up.
