Broken

New friends

I parked my bike with all the others and went inside. I got weird looks yesterday but today I am covered in bruises and a few cuts, so I got more strange looks than I thought was humanly possible, but this is where I am what can I do about it?

Soon it was lunch time and my ribs were hurting more than ever and you could tell by the way I walked, But I had no friends so know one would notice.

I sat down at a table by my self and pulled my laptop out of my bag. I logged on and started to write, until I felt someone behind me. I turned around and saw a girl my height with pink hair and tanned skin.

" hey are you okay, I noticed you had lots of bruises and a nasty cut there," she pointed to the cut just under my ribs, witch I got last night from somebody smashing a bottle.

" I'll be ok," I said shortly Malachi would kill me if I talked to anyone about anything.

" no name or anything," she laughed " well my name is Toni."

I knew that if Malachi knew I was making a friend he wouldn't be happy, but he didn't have to know I am good at keeping secrets and I was a teenager I deserved to have one normal thing and make friends " I am Katrina."

" I like that name, it reminds me of someone I used to know," she said with a sad smile, but quickly went back to her happy self.

" I like your name to, I have always liked names that are uncommon," I said with a smile.

" I have an idea-"

Before she could finish her sentence other boys came up behind her; one of them was tall, pale and pale, the other was short, tanned and had his hair styled. "Witch is never good," the taller one said.

Toni playfully punched his arm " I am smarter than you, Sweatpea this is Katrina," she pointed to the taller one then me, " fangs this is Katrina," she pointed to the shorter one then me, " Katrina, Sweatpea, Katrina, fangs," she pointed to Sweatpea then Fangs, I smiled and nodded my head at both of them, they did the same.

" nice to meet you both," I said in a polite voice.

"Nice to meet you to princess," fangs said with a playful wink and smirk, i roles my eyes.

" come on pack up your stuff and come with us," she said as she grabbed my arm and pulled me, i hissed in pain, she dropped my arm and I fell back. " oh I am so so so sorry Katrina I didn't know-"

I laughed slightly but stoped since it hurt, this confused her " it is ok I have suffered worse I just broke two of my ribs."

They all looked shocked and fangs helped me up, i turned my laptop of and put it in my bag. " So where are we going," I said after I had finished.

" how about we just skip," Sweatpea said, I thought this was a brilliant idea, we didn't learn much at this school and they didn't care what we did. We all nodded in agreement, got are bags and walked out side of the school.

I got to my bike and sat on it putting my helmet on. "Well now we know who owns the bike," fangs said in awe as they all sat in there bikes and put their helmets on.

" that bike, she is a Beauty where did you get her," Sweatpea asked.

" well I work have done since I was eight I saved money and only bought what I needed until last year I decided I deserved a treat from this," I explained as I traded a scar that then from my hip to my to my bell bouton in a curved line. They all looked shocked again and so was I why was I opining you yo people I didn't even know, but I remember them from something but I don't know what, I feel like I already know them. I broke away from my trance and looked back up to them " so where are we going?"
