[A/N : This part of the story has bits of angst and a lot of fluff. Thought I don't think that needs an author's note, just a little warning for the underage readers that could come by this story.]

A week after returning to the Source

"You should go talk to her."

"But..."

"G'raha if you don't your friendship could be jeopardized and she'll continue to blame herself."

After Shadow had brought each soul crystal back to the Source, she revived each of her friends. Though with countless warnings of what could possibly happen to the Exarch's soul and memories if fused with his younger self. Even back in the First he said he'd take the risk if it meant that he was able to return but she wasn't prepared to potentially ruin both souls and lose him for good. Days went by and eventually Shadow mustered the courage to take the Exarch's soul crystal to the tower. The room that had yet to be made into the Ocular sat G'raha's cold and scarcely underweight body locked in slumber.

As she inched closer the nerves in her body began to tense making her movements rigid and sloppy. With shaking hands she placed the crystal by his hands and waited for a soft glow. The crystal lifted up after a few seconds and a hint of faint light lit up her face then abruptly fell to the ground cracking the red crystal. Shadow's face went pale as she clumsily picked up the now useless crystal, wondering if the process had been completed. For a few moments there was no sign of anything until his ears twitched slightly.

Shadow summoned Krile via linkshell. She said that he'll make a recovery though it'll take some time since his body has been unresponsive for awhile. G'raha was moved to the Rising Stones infirmary where he'd get treatment.

"So... Did the transfer work...?"

"It seems so yet G'raha doesn't have much strength to move or even speak so whether his memories are intact is still unknown."

"I see..."

It took about four days for G'raha to fully be able to move and walk on his own. He informed us that although his memories were hazy he has them all. Of course Shadow was overjoyed but a sense of guilt overwhelmed her causing her to distance herself.

"I feel that if I do go and talk to her it'll only complicate things more..."

"Then are you prepared to lose her?"

"No but..."

"But nothing you've got very little time before she decides that she'll stay away from you for your own good. Trust me I've known her for a long time and she tends to push herself away to avoid causing more pain for others."

"..."

"I know what she means to you and how you'll feel when she's gone. So as a friend I'm telling you you need to talk with her. Forget for a minute that she and I are together and tell her how you feel, tell her how much she means to you."

"Ai'zoda..."

"I bet you if I returned a little later she would've chosen you instead of me. Hell she still feels for you even though we're together but hides it in fear of hurting me."

Ai'zoda faces the star covered sky a look of melancholy in his eyes. He knows she loves him but he also knows she loves G'raha as well, its hard for him to accept but he understands that he's been out of her life for awhile. He up and left her to study when really all he wanted was to be by her side.

"I was lucky I guess... And in reality I don't deserve her but am not willing to give her up either..."

G'raha laughs and give Ai'zoda a hearty back slap. Thanks to him, he got his courage to go talk to her.
