Without thinking twice, I jumped up and threw myself on the silhouette at the door, pressing the pillow against their face violently. The person tried fighting back, but was obviously failing whatever move they were trying to make.
That's when I recognized the tall and slender form. My eyes widened at the sudden realization. I immediately jumped back, hands covering my mouth in utter shock.
"Please tell me he's not dead, please tell me he's not dead, please tell me he's not dead..." I begged quietly. The silhouette grunted, showing signs of survival. I sighed in relief.
"You almost killed me—"
I crossed my arms over my chest as I shook my head in disapproval.
"On seconds thoughts, after hearing your voice, maybe killing you would've been the better choice." I implied, getting up while heavily glaring at him. He just replied with a smirk.
"Stop doing that face, it's creeping me out-" I paused, remembering the actual creepiness in his behavior.
"But that's beside the point. What in the actual heck were you doing watching me sleep?" I snapped.
"Are you some kind of psycho too now?"
The smug smirk appeared again, as he visibly preferred staring in amusement rather than actually answering me. I clenched my fists as my annoyance started showing.
"Alright, Pennywise, out of my damn room!" I scowled as I 'tried' pushing him out to the hallway.
"You know, your tiny hands can't even move me an inch." He chuckled. I groaned in frustration.
"Listen up, Daichi, I don't know what game you're playing, but for pikachu's sake stop the madness!"
"You know, sometimes I don't understand you-"
"You know damn well what I mean." I retorted as I glared daggers at him. "Quit playing, Kobe."
"Well I think you should quit this little game you're playing with that Australian weirdo." I froze. 'Oh so you're flipping the table around, I see.'
"Excuse me?"
"Oh, cut it out, Chaeyoung. You really thought you were playing it smoothly?" He questioned cockily. I gritted my teeth as I felt my blood boil. "This little secret of yours won't last long, trust me. Now that I know, I have the power of exposing your little game."
'This little scoobydoo-villain-wannabe will get it for sure!'
"You know what, Kobe, I'm not gonna waste my time with you, so feel free to believe what you want. I'll be off now." With that, I made my way down the stairs to search for Felix.
On the outside, I looked unbothered. However, my mind said otherwise. Nothing made me angrier than Daichi. This whole plan I had of bringing Felix over was for him to stop bothering me. If I somehow made him and both our families believe that, then they would finally cut some slack with the whole 'you and Daichi should get together' crap. But this just made it more complicated. Now I didn't even know how I felt towards Felix. My mind was just all over the place, I was so unfamiliar with everything. Overall, I felt completely and utterly lost.
And then there was my father: the ultimate threat that stood right in my way.
"Felix Lee, is it?"
If this whole plan failed, the biggest consequence I would have to face, was my father.
