Well they tell me Jesus died for my transgressions.

He lay down his life a long long time ago.

That He paid the price for me, on a hill called Calvary.

But there is just one thing I gotta know.

Does he still, feel the nails, every time I fail.

Does he hear the crowd cry crucify him again.

Am I causing Him pain, I know I've got to change.

I just cant bare the thought of hurting Him.

I'm so good at breaking all my promises.

And I treat his tender grace so carelessly

Each time he forgives, what if he relives,

the agony he felt upon that tree.

Does he still, feel the nails, every time I fail.

Does he hear the crowd cry crucify him again.

Am I causing Him pain, I know I've got to change.

I just cant bare the thought of hurting Him.
