Size Doesn't Matter ( A Chouji x Reader Insert)

First Day at the Academy

(Boom Bento)

 "(Y/n) This looks amazing!" Chouji exclaimed before digging straight into the food without a second thought. I felt my cheeks heat up a bit before I shyly respond. "Oh it's not that great..." I say bashfully before looking over to Naruto, who is already digging into his food. His eyes open for a second and he notices me looking at him to get his opinion. "O-OH it really is amazing (Y/n)! Who taught you how to cook like this!?" He asked before digging back into the food. "My mother actually started teaching me how to cook last year and... I kept practicing at it till I could get the hang of it." I explained before picking up my pair of chop sticks and grabbing at a cherry tomato. As time went on I noticed that less people were around as we ate and talked about our futures. Naruto mentioned again that he would be the next Hokage, in which I fully support him in. Chouji mentioned it was a good way for him to get more food. I laughed about it for a moment before giving him a pat on the back. "Well if that's what makes you happy, then go for it!" I cheered him on. This seem to catch his attention, causing his brows to raise a bit. "You... You don't think I'm to fat? Or should go on a diet or something?" He asked in almost disbelief. "What? Of course not Chouji! You are perfect as you are." I say giving him a big smile. He only stared at me for a bit before smiling and turning away to wipe something off his face. "Oh geez I hope dirt didn't get in your eyes." I said as I prepare to reach over and try to help him out. "Oh no no I'm fine! I think its out now." He says while laughing a bit and turning back to me. "Hey Naruto! We should get some people together at some time and we could all come see my place!" I suggest. The two boys looked at each other then back at me. "Uh... (Y/n) would your parents really be okay with us coming to your house?" Naruto asked cautiously. I tilt my head a bit before realization hit me like a ball to the face. "Oh! I live alone. They are still in Hikarigakure and someone named Yamato built the house for me. I don't know who they really are, but I need to thank them the next time I see them." I explain. "Well if that's the case, I'll probably just get Shikamaru and Kiba to come over. Any day you think would be good?" He asked. I hummed a bit before placing my finger to my chin. "Well why not tomorrow? I could ask a few of the girls to come and we could all hang out there! I think I brought some movies with me so we could all watch something! I don't really know if I have some sort of cable working though because I didn't really turn the tv on at all when I got there." I explained. I looked down and noticed the bento boxes were completely empty. "Well guys I do appreciate that you liked my cooking, if anything, I don't mind cooking for you guys more often." I offer, slightly blushing from the awkward feeling in my chest. "Really? That would rule!" Naruto says while jumping up from the ground with a smile on his face. Chouji was digging into a bag of chips I had brought but I seem him eagerly nodding. "Well it's settled! I'll bring you guys lunch so we can all eat together!" I cheered while cleaning up our mess. Wouldn't want to be trashy now would we? After a few minutes, we had our little spot cleaned up and we were all full. "Well lets go to my place so you can see how to get there." explain as I start making my way out of the academy. Chouji was following behind me, but Naruto was trailing behind a bit. "Ohhhh no you don't!" I yelled as I dash back and grab Naruto's wrist, catching him by surprise. "W-Wait wha-" "You aren't going to trail behind us like that! I don't care what the mean people think about me. You are my friend Naruto. My first friend at that." I explain. He seems completely stunned from what I said. He soon had a smile growing on his face and he nodded quickly. "O-Okay then lead the way fearless leader!" Naruto cheered, causing me to grin and start running towards the exit, both Naruto and Chouji close behind me.

(5 minutes later) 

"And welcome to my home!" I said while raising my hands towards the my house. They stared in awe at the my house. "Woah this place is huge!" Naruto shouts as he walks a bit closer. I giggle before running over and opening the door and gesturing for them to come in. "By all means, come inside!" I encourage them. They quickly walked in and looked around. "Woah (Y/n) your house is so nice! The kitchen is pretty well made too! So that Yamato guy really did this stuff?" Chouji asked. I nodded before walking over to the tv to see if there was any cable. Sure enough there was and I jumped with joy when a cartoon popped up. "Yeah Yamato really helped me out here! And good news is that I do have cable so I have some sort of entertainment when I am alone." I say before plopping down on the couch. Chouji and Naruto basically sandwiched me on the couch as we all watch a cartoon that was playing on the tv. Chouji was munching on his chips and looked over and offered me a chip. My eyes widened for a moment before graciously taking the chip. "Thanks Chouji!" I say before popping the chip into my mouth. I noticed a faint pink dust on his cheeks for a moment, but choose to ignore it. After what seems like a few hours of exploring the house and tv, Naruto and Chouji told me it was about time for them to head home. "Well, whenever you guys want to come over, feel free! My place is an open door for my friends!" I exclaim before pulling them into a tight hug. They both let out a startled noise before returning the hug. "Well we'll see you tomorrow at the Academy (Y/n)!" Chouji said before walking off. "Yeah! I actually do look forward to showing up on time this time!" Naruto says while laughing and making his way out. As I close the door I feel a strange happiness flow over me. "This feels so unreal... I wonder how long I will need to go to the academy before I can graduate..." I think to myself as I clean out the bento boxes I had used today so I can use them once more for tomorrow. "I wonder what the graduation requirements are for the Academy now that I think about it... If anything I can ask Iruka sensei tomorrow during class." I say out loud to myself. After about 45 minutes of cooking, our lunches were ready yet again, this time I made them a little different. (Again, you will see in the next chapter :3) "Well I should go take my shower so I can get ready for tomorrow!" I shout out loud again and dash to my room to get ready to relax.

(Time skip because scrubby dub dub in a tub.)

After I hopped out of the bath I dried myself off and hopped into a fuzzy pair of (F/c) pants and a (F/c) crop top to go to sleep in. I looked into the corner and still see the big scroll that my dad gave to me. 'I think I'll take a look at that some other day..." I think to myself as I hop onto my bed and prepare myself for a blissful sleep. "First day at the Academy wasn't that bad..." I mutter to myself as I drift into a sweet dream.
