"ohhh okayyy, thanks jake"

we made it to class on time, walking into the noisy room and sat in our seats. me being in the left corner at the back of the room, youngmi on my right, jay on youngmi's right, jake in front of youngmi. all the teachers left the seat in front of me empty and no one has sat there for a long time since we stay in the same seats everyday.

"alright kids settle down settle down, we have a new student joining us today"

mr.bang announced after walking into the classroom setting his things down. the whole class was so eager to find out who it was since there had been so many rumours about this "new kid." everyone except me. i honestly didn't care who it was, i usually only talk to my 3 friends and my brother if i really need to, he always embarrasses me at school and it's annoying, even though he's younger than me he acts older than me, treating me like a child, im literally a year older than him!! he knows I've always wanted an older brother though so it's nice knowing he's acting like an older brother just for me.

besides that i didn't really talk to anyone in my class unless i absolutely had to, i wasn't very social and sometimes i just wasn't interested in others lives, except my friends of course, we grew up together and they mean the world to me. again my thoughts we're interrupted by mr.bang telling the new kid to walk in. hearing gasps and whispers from almost the entire class as soon as the dude walks in made me cringe in annoyance, like bro chill pleaseeee.

"introduce yourself young man" mr.bang said to him.

"aHeM hello im park sunghoon nice to meet you" he said, politely bowing to the class. he seemed nice, but shy at the same time, i couldn't help but notice the mole on his nose, his thick eyebrows, the way his pretty eyes had stars in them, and that adorable smile.

"that's it?" the teacher questioned but the sunghoon kid just nodded, scrunching his nose and furrowing his eyebrows, slightly confused wondering if he should've said more about himself.

"hmmm okay then let's see where you can sit" mr.bang said while scanning the room. the only empty seat that was left was the one in front of me.

"ahh over there in front of kim sunhee. sunhee raise your hand please"
i slightly raised my arm up, enough so he could see. while he was walking to the seat he smiled and hi fived someone that was already in my class. i think his name was lee heeseung, yea he's nice he helped me with homework a few times because i am very dumb and my friends were busy.

i thought in my head while he walked to his seat, glancing at me and slightly smiling awkwardly, i just turned away with a straight face looking out the window. it was a nice day, the sun was shining, there weren't many clouds in the sky and the flowers were blooming

"okay guys time to get into today's work" the whole class groan after mr.bang starts writing math equations onto the board.

I walked into the class after the teacher told me, hearing whispering as soon as I walked in 'the heck do they already think im weird' i cleared my throat and introduced myself after the teacher told me to.

"that's it?"

the teacher looked at me confused

'shit should i have talked about myself more, maybe i should've said my hobbies, or what school i transferred from ughhh'

after debating with my thoughts i decided to stick with what i already said and simply nodded at the teacher, who's name i think was mr.bang
