The air was hot and dry. We got out of the car and I looked out our new home. It was baby blue and white, with two stories and alot of windows. I stared in awe at the huge house. " Alright," my dad said looking over at me and my ten year old brother, " Go pick out your rooms." he finished. I ran to the front door and opened it up. The walk in was big, and there was a large living room to the right and a sitting room to the left. The house was already furnished, so I ran up stars and opened up every door I saw. The fourth door I opened, I knew that it was the room for me. The walls were Polka Dotted pink and purple. There was a king size bed with a pink comforter and two purple shams and paisly sheets. It was definatly me. The curtains were Paisly as well, and there was a desk and a dresser. " No T.V." I moaned. My brother Jackson came running down the hall, screaming at the top of his lungs. " What the hell Jackson" I said to him, as I grabbed his shirt, jerking him towards me. He wiggled loose and smiled at me. " You have to see my room" he yelled. He grabbed my hand and started pulling me down the hall. he opened a door to the left and walked inside. It was blue with black skulls everywhere. " When did you turn straight up Emo?" I asked, glancing at his bed, that was all black with some weird band name on it. " It's not emo Paisley. It's alternitive!", he yelled, " Get out of my room!" he finished, peircing my eardrums. I walked out of his room and he slammed the door behind me. It's offical, I hate it here. I thought to myself, walking down the stair to the main room, where my dad was lifting our television out of the padded box he'd put it in back in California. I sighed under my breath, so my dad wouldn't hear me. " Is there anything to eat around here, dad?" " No sweetie, sorry. I was planning on going grocery shopping later, after we were all settled in. I think your car was dropped of, you can go into town and get something if you want." " Thanks dad." I replied. " Here are your keys," he said tossing them to me. I waved them in the air at him and walked out to my car. I opened the car door and closed it, starting the ignition
