The party was in full swing. It wasn't a fancy party, just a small gathering for close ones. Nyonika and Ronit were standing with some guests, engaged in conversation, while Manik was busy with Shivin.

Shivin: So, buddy, are you ready for your special performance?

Manik: Yeah, totally, but I just hope Mom likes it.

Shivin: Bro, if you go and give a rose to your mother with wholeheartedness, she'll be happy. And here you are planning to sing a song for her. She will not just like it, she will love it.

Manik: Yeah, that's true, but I'm still nervous. I'll be singing in front of so many people for the first time. Will everything go well, Shivin?

Shivin: Definitely, you're going to kill it, bro. No need to be nervous, just be yourself. Remember, you're doing this for your mother's happiness, not for everyone else. So, don't think about them. They don't matter. What matters is the smile that will come on your mother's face when you sing.

While they were busy talking, Ronit came towards Manik to call him.

Manik and Shivin both went with Ronit and they could see Nyonika talking to someone. A couple was standing with whom Nyonika was conversing, and a girl was standing with them, her face covered by Nyonika.

They reached Nyonika, and they were shocked to see that the girl was none other than Nandini, Manik's crush. Manik and Shivin looked at her with wide eyes, unable to blink. Nyonika broke their trance and said, "Manik and Shivin, meet Mr. and Mrs. Khana, and this is their daughter, Nandini Khana." Manik and Shivin took their blessings.

Nandini's father (teasingly, as he understood they were looking at Nandini): By the way, why are you both so shocked looking at us? Don't we look good?

Manik: No, uncle, it's not that.

Shivin (interrupting): Uncle, we are shocked to see Nandini. (Manik gave him a look) I mean, Uncle, she is our tuition mate, and we didn't know she was also coming. That's why we are shocked.

Nandini's father: Oh! You all know each other, that's good. I thought Nandini would get bored today. It's good that she'll have your company. Ragini, let's catch up with others. Nyonika ji, we'll talk among ourselves until the kids mingle.

Shivin: Hi, Nandini. We never talked during tuition classes, so seeing you here suddenly shocked us, right, Manik? (Looking at Manik and making faces)

Manik: Oh yes, Shivin.

Shivin: By the way, Nandini, you know Manik has planned a surprise for his mother, and he's scared whether she'll like it or not. You should tell him not to be scared. (Manik gave him a glare)

Nandini: Yes, Manik, there's no need to be scared. She's your mom, and mothers love everything their children do. For a mother, her child is everything, so no need to be scared. Just close your eyes, take a deep breath, and do it. You're doing this for your mother. By the way, Manik, what is the surprise?

Manik: Nandini, you'll have to wait a bit to find out.

Nandini: Okay, then I'll be waiting.

They both looked at each other and smiled. Manik was so happy to be able to talk to his crush, while Nandini was enjoying the party, talking to Manik and Shivin.

Shivin on the stage:

You know, aunty, my mother is jealous of you because I always talk about you." (Everyone laughs)

"Okay, so I'm here for something very special for you. There's a surprise for you, aunty."

Nyonika: What's the surprise?

Shivin: Just wait and watch, aunty. (The lights go off)

On the stage, Manik sits on a chair with a guitar in his hands, smiling as he looks at his mom.
