Being a mafia is difficult, I thought as I shot the fifteenth person that day. Being utterly bored, I continued to scroll Pinterest.

"Hey there!" Lara whistled. "A nice piece of ass you got there!"

The guy that was trying to run away without us noticing, increased his speed, a horrified expression on his face.

I glared at her, but she just shrugged. "What?" She asked.

"I've told you not to catcall guys, Lara. We went over this."

"Hey! I only catcall guys I've seen catcalling someone else. Plus I already have a girlfriend. I just want to see the expression on their faces," she grinned.

I sighed. It was useless to argue with her. We were killing everyone here anyways, so I guess it doesn't matter.

"Just- just go and kill him," I told her. Already wanting to be done here.

I don't even understand why other gangs even try to set up their territory here, knowing very well that I'll kill them all before they succeed.

"All done, " Lara catched her breath while coming back. I checked the time.

Just the second part of the mission is left, after that I can go home and sleep.

"Where to, boss? " She asked.

"A club near here, we'll kill the gang leader and go home. "

Being a police officer is difficult I thought as I completed the millionth file of the day.

The movies don't show that police have so much paperwork to do, or I'd never join the police force.

Done for the day, I went home- the expensive apartment I shared with a roommate.

I did not have money to even pay half of the rent, and made up by doing housework. So I was basically a maid with living privileges.

I slumped on the couch exhausted, when I was greeted by my enthusiastic roommate.

"You are back, finally! I was so bored. We gotta go out tonight and have fun! " Leah exclaimed, jumping in excitement. L

She was here being bored in an expensive apartment while I was filing endless paperwork in unbearable heat. Life is very fair.

I wondered how much she earned to pay for this apartment. She was a writer, but I had never seen her write ever.

"Can't you go with your girlfriend? I was planning to relax today, " I groaned.

"She's busy today. And you mister officer need to have some fun in your life. Or better, find a girlfriend! "

"I'm not going anywhere, " I whined.

But she was taking none of it. She dragged me off the couch with strength I did not know she had.

"We are going to the club tonight, "she declared.
