✜ in all honesty, this one was pretty hard to do lmao

✜ daichi is like... well, the type of person you wouldn't expect to have a yandere side or at least, a possessive side because he's just so down-to-earth, y'know? 

✜ he's logical, cooperative.. even when he's trying to get to you

✜ he may not have the strongest manipulation tactic in comparison to suga or tsukishima, but he knows to take things one step at a time

✜ however, he can sometimes get a little frustrated since you have been seen talking to others as well and there are the rare times the jealousy can be seen on his face by suga, asahi or even ennoshita or tanaka

✜ daichi knows how to keep his cool, though

✜ when he's trying to get close to you, he may stumble over his words every now and then (cute uwu) because it feels like it's taken him aGES to get you alone

✜ he really does care about your safety, a lot

✜ he's somewhat like tanaka but, he does lack some stability once you two officially start dating. and can you really blame him? he's been more than anxious and anticipated getting with you and oh fuck- it actually worked!!

✜ daichi just feels nervous that it wasn't going to work out even before you guys actually became a thing and the fact that it actually did just gives him more of a reason to try and keep you.

✜ he gets on-edge seeing you talk to other guys though because in his mind, he's going through a lot of internal dilemmas that he just can't bring himself to say

✜ he tries to get himself to calm down but, it's kind of too late-- his mind is racing a mile per minute and so is his heart. daichi's got scenarios forming in his mind of how he could possibly lose you; not just to another person, but the world. and that's when he starts to get more strict

✜ it's kind of sad because it's like a downward spiral

✜  he knows and hates it

✜ he begins to get more overprotective, which is sweet but, you try and reassure him on everything. and believe it or not, the following situations could go 50/50 -- there's no steady knowledge of what's going to happen next

✜ either, daichi does manage to calm down but, it takes him a WHILE to do so. he doesn't want to hurt you because hurting you equals hurting your relationship; which is something he doesn't want to end anytime soon

✜ he does open up (ever so slowly) about how his problem is becoming a big, huge factor into him practically losing himself 

✜ sugawara and asahi are veryyy sweet to him about this and you are as well, and things slowly get better one step at a time ^_^

✜ but, then-- there's always the other part of what could go wrong. 

✜ daichi -- rather than trying to tell everyone about his problems -- he tries to do his own thing..

✜ he becomes more restricting of you and he does have a tendency to limit your freedom because he believes he's the only person that can protect you from actually executing the scenarios that he visualized within his mind

✜ and when his protectiveness has reached it's peak: he's mostly seen deep within his own thoughts

✜ he thinks and remembers everything in his mind, everything and everyone you most likely could and would have contact with -- and he does realize he's possibly gone too far..

✜ yet once again, he argues to himself that it was for both of your own good
