it's the next day, i wake up and get ready or court. i sneak out the window and decide to walk to the court house since i don't have a car.
i walk through town. the town is very small everyone knows everyone, we all know where everything is its east to get around by walking.
i arrive at the courthouse and walk up the steps, i walk in and see the boy who was at the police department last nights handcuffed and walk outside to a cop car, he just keeps looking down probably getting arrested for whatever he did, so it wasn't for speeding, i'm sure.
i find tanya and greet her, "hi" i smile at her, "we need to talk before it starts" she tells me. "you need to take this seriously to win and not have go to jail for too long, the least they'll give you is 3 months if all the evidence adds up" she explains, "i'll take it seriously" i say firmly.
we go into the court room and and take a seat, where were supposed to sit. i sit down and we wait for others to arrive. the judge gets there and is quiet.
i have to talk about what happened and everything before anyone else gets to speak.
"kyra randa, you may now speak" the judge tells me, "yesterday night, around 8pm i ent to streetview avenue to, do drugs, with my friend camy, and two other guys she knew. i arrived there before them waiting they get there about 20 minutes later with everything, we start taking drugs messing around and trying to have a good time, they saw the cop car coming up to us, they told me to gather everything, and left me there" i explain the truth to everyone.
"was there alcohol involved?" she asks, "yes" i reply, "how much alcohol did each of you drink" she questons, "i drank about two bottles, and consumed some of the drugs, the others drank more than me and did more than me" i explain.
"so we did get your drug test result back today it came back positive, and you were also drinking, and your under age" she states.
i nod and go and take a seat.
"we will have camy speak and see if the stories add up and who is telling the truth, because so far, we have no whitnesses of anyone else being there with you" she explains. fuck. camy is gonna lie, i know her, and lets not talk about how he made out with caden and josh, who are both 21, and shes only 17, dont think her parents will be too happy with it. she probably also fucked both of them.
we take a break for 5 minutes before camy goes on, "your doing good dont think too much ok, im gonna let you win and only get 3 months" tanya tells me.
i take a deep breathe. have some money and decide to get a snack from the vending machine, i look at all the snacks and of course i pick the chocolate donuts.
i get it and open the package i eat one, it tasted delicious.
i ate abou two before tanya came back to me telling me its time for me to go back in there. i though the rest away even though i didnt want to,
i sit down and see camy standing as she waits to talk.
she doesnt look at me she just keeps staring down. i look behind me and see her parents staring at her, i just know shes gonna lie to make herself look good in frot of her parents.
the judge comes in, "camy diaz, what happened yesterday night" the judge asks her.
"so last night i was at home the whole night in my room listening to music doing my makeup then i went to sleep, i was never with kyra randal last night" she lies right in front of me. i roll m eyes, "this isnt true" tanya stands up, "who are caden and josh" tanys asks camy in defense.
"i don't know" she lies again, "dont lie, just because your parents are here doesnt mean you are allowed to lie"
"no shouting or accusing her of lying" the judge tells tanya.
