Graeae [Part 1]

Amidst a desolate donjon unwalled,

A searing cauldron simmered and stalled,

The process of some witchy hocus pocus uncalled,

When Deino seethed and spewed words enthralled,

"Bumble, Crumble, Tumble and Stumble,

we are the three sisters who only brew trouble.

Add me some newt's eye, fill me with a draught of bubble,

Get me some water from treacherous seas, feed me the human hubble,

"Bring me the toad, get me some blood of mermaids double,

Cause' we are the three sisters who only brew trouble."

Thence Enyo and Pemphredo fulfilled,

As they each chanted and trilled,

Whilst seeking to concote a draft skilled,

In causing havoc to the mainland instilled,

To make believe into the world of their craft thrilled,

They danced around, conjuring the future with some voodoo and some trickery milled,

When Deino hollared in horror at the foreboding sense of ill,

The sisters were left aghast and shrilled,

As the enigmatic embers curved around the scorched fires of the kettle and stilled,

Interceding the visions of what was to come, Enyo wailed,

"To help a human is a sin,

to us this is a mockery chagrin,

The future is our puppet, our kin,

to transform and to win,

is but a necessity we shall spin,

Come along sisters, and change thy skin,

as we venture into the world of corruption from within."
