Chapter 20

Tear after tear left his eyes

"Babe shhh...Its not" I was trying to convince him

"No HARRY I'm serious it was a normal day and and I j-just was playing outside and she said she was sick and stayed home so at one point I decided I was hungry and sense I was 5 I couldn't reach any thing and everything was child proof, so I decide to go to her room and find her in the b-bathroom" I saw Louis eyes water up and I held his hand
"She was in the b-bath tub the water was red and I-I asked her why and she said that it was a special soap, but she seemed a bit lost there was no emotion in her eyes. I didn't know better so I asked 'Are you sleepy mummy' and she just said 'no I'm sick can you get me that bottle of pills' she pointed on the sink and when she grabbed them from my hand h-her hands" he took a long breath as tears just kept falling out his eyes

"Her wrists were all cut up and I asked her like an idiot 'what happened mommy' and she just said 'I got a bobo but I'm fine' and I believed her, she put a whole load of pills in her mouth and swallowed I-I though she K-Knew what she was doing because she was my mum" he looked down wiping his and snot quickly thinking for a moment

"she said 'give me a hug Louis baby' and I did say 'I love you mommy' as I hugged her she said 'I love you too now go downstairs and when daddy comes home tell him to come up ok' and I nodded and did as told. He came home 30 minuets later and went up, he ran down yelling 'Are you a fucking idiot why didn't you call 911' and she was from that time pronounced dead from suicide" he cried into my arms and so did I, I don't know how he can be so strong

"I killed her I gave her the pills I let her bleed out why was I such a stupid kid. Just why" he cried harder "my dad beats me ever night saying it was my fault. My fault she died, my fault he's lonely, my fault he's an alcoholic, everything my fault" he cried as I whispered sweet nothings into his ear
"Nothing is your fault baby" I whispered to him over and over trying to get him as convinced of it as I was I mean he was only 5

Louis cried for a good 16 minuets straight, he cried him self to sleep actually and before he fell fully asleep I whispered an 'I will love you forever' in his ear and I just never let him go promising him I will forever be in love with this boy.
