It was a hot afternoon in Edo and it’s the perfect time for the yorozuya to relax. Gin is busy reading the latest jump issue while he slump on the couch, Shinpachi who just had finished cleaning the whole room is sitting on the floor with his headphone listening to otsu’s latest single. While Kagura is chewing a bunch of sukonbu to which it didn’t last long enough. As soon as the red haired yato noticed her stocks consumed, she immediately searched the fridge for some other foods. But to her dismay, the fridge was empty. Her stomach began to grumble and she eased it by rubbing her belly with her hand.

“Gin-chan…lets go out to buy some food, my sukonbo is already gone and im still hungry aru” the red haired yato urged the silver haired shiroyasha while tugging his sleeves.

Gintoki still continued reading his jump issue and started picking his nose, “Huh? Look more into it. There might be one food left there.” He answered nonchalantly not even looking at the yato standing infront of him, instead he turned his back on her.

Kagura began to feel herself boil with annoyance, “But…there isnt…any food…left. COULDN’T YOU HEAR ME YOU LAZY BUM!” she shouted with anger and accidentally hit Gin’s jump issue causing it to fly out of their balcony. Shinpachi was surprised and took off his headphone to see what was happening.

The silver haired guy stared in shocked at the balcony to where his beloved jump had just passed. He ran towards it and looked downward only to see the magazine being stepped on by passerby. Gintoki clenched his hand and turn around to face Kagura, though he remained his head lower. “For once…can’t you control that hunger of yours? You only think about yourself you silly girl,” he mumbled to which Kagura replied back. “WELL ISNT IT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE US WITH FOOD?!”

“IF YOU WANT TO EAT THEN GO FIND YOUR OWN FOOD! YOU GLUTTON!” Gin shouted back but regretted it afterwards when he realized what he said. He was about to apologize when Kagura immediately ran off the house, shouting “GIN CHAN YOU BAKAAAAA!”

Loud noises were heard outside with doors being destroyed and people shouting in surprise. “Shouldn’t we go after her…Gin chan?” Shinpachi ask as he slowly rose from the floor and walked beside the silver haired shiroyasha.

Gin was silent for a moment and the two only stared down to the busy street, he then walked back inside with both his arms resting on his head. “Don’t worry…she’ll definitely come back here after she finds food and calm herself down.”

In the midst of the busy day, Kagura went to find a job. She tried working as a waitress at a restaurant but ended up getting fired due to her clumsiness, she tried working at the bar as a hostess but they didn’t accept due to her age. Hours went by but she was still unable to find work, her stomach grumbled more. She visited Otae’s house and Tsukuyo as well as her other friends but all of them seems to be not at their home. Kagura felt more frustrated, she is getting hungry plus her friends aren’t there to give her food nor temporary shelter. She walked by the park and rested there as she watched the little kids playing happily. She smiled seeing them but her smile slowly vanished when she suddenly remembered Gin’s words. “For once…can’t you control that hunger of yours? You only think about yourself you silly girl,” “IF YOU WANT TO EAT THEN GO FIND YOUR OWN FOOD! YOU GLUTTON!”  These words kept echoing inside her head, she slowly lowered her head and got surprised when drops of water fell onto her arms. Her mind was busy processing everything that had happened and later realized that it was her tears that fell down, and a heavy feeling enveloped her heart.

“Gin-chan…you baka…” she murmured to herself. Suddenly little amount of water began to drop from the ground and soon the park grounds was covered with water. Everyone began running away and only Kagura was left, she looked up at the dark gray skies with a sorrowful expression and continued crying. “This isnt really my day” she whispered.
