I surprisingly never wanted to leave my hometown of Valentine, Kentucky. It's literally in the middle of no where, with nothing to do. I would rather have nothing to do in a nearly unpopulated area than to live in a widely populated area and have nothing to do. Because at least in an unpopulated area you have an excuse to not do anything because there's no one around.

Me? I just moved here to good old Slidell, Louisiana. At first I was excited to come to a bigger city so I could have something to do. Then I got here and realized I don't have anyone to do things with. We live in a quiet neighborhood with mostly old people and married couples with no kids so that wasn't much of a help. I was kind of hoping that school wouldn't be too bad since I'm the new girl in school. Speaking of school, I start tomorrow. Good luck to Ava Hamilton I guess (that's me).

I hope that people here in Louisiana are friendly.
