Tips - Visit between May and August for ideal temperatures - Take a half-land, half-sea vacation where you do the land section first and then cruise for the second half - If taking a bus tour of Denali, do the 13 hour ride. It seems like a lot but the time really flies and you see much more than you would on the 5 or 8 hours. - Get to excursions early! The seasons to travel there are super short so lines are always long and there are multiple shuttles. - Bring snacks anywhere you go. Oftentimes you won't have time for lunch so it's good to have a few things to hold you over. - Bring many different kinds of clothes. Some days it was in the 70s (F) and other days it was in the 10s (F).
