Karina closed her diary and went to start her day. She brushed her teeth and showered before standing in front of her mirror to pick out the perfect outfit.She decided on a white sweater tucked into a classy purple mini-skirt. "Good Morning Kari", Mrs. Gibbs called out. "Your oatmeal is on the table and I would love to drop you off but I have a meeting with the investors so I'll see you tonight ok?"

"Hold that thought that's the investors calling. Hello?"
"I love you Mom" Karina sighed.
After she finished her breakfast, she got her bag and decided to walk to her bus stop. "I'm early again" she thought. She scrolled through her social media to pass time.
"Hey, are you going to Caris academy?"
Karina turned around. She saw the most handsome boy she had seen in her life. She swooned at his curly chestnut hair and big sparkling brown eyes. His olive skin glistened as Karina found herself turning red.
"Uh-yeah-I am hehe"she replied.
"Great! My name is Joshua Evans. I think we can be really good friends this year."
"Friends with that hunk?" she thought.
"Yeah of coarse! I'm Karina Gibbs."
"WAIT DID THE BUS LEAVE!"
Karina and Joshua turned around to see a blonde frantic girl running their way.
"ARE Y'ALL GOING TO CARIS?"
"Yes, the bus hasn't arrived yet." Joshua calmly replied.
"Oh thank god! My name is Sophia Patterson but you can call me Soph."
Karina glared at Sophia. Not only did she intrude on the chance of making a new friend but, she also had just turned attention to the three of them there.
"Karina Gibbs, Nice to meet you" Karina mustered a smile.
"Joshua Evans, at your service" Sophia beamed.
"Oh she likes him huh. I better not get distracted. I have to be valedictorian."
"Oh Look the Bus!" Sophia shouted.
Karina decided to sit in the back, her favorite seat,but only to be accompanied by Joshua and Sophia sitting in the seat next to them.
