"We can't keep ending up like this", Hermione insisted, clutching the bed sheets to her chest.

Ron shot her a bemused smile, "Are you talking to me, or to yourself?"

He leaned over & tucked a loose curl behind her ear. Her breath hitched in her throat.

"I don't know"

"Well, you're the one who — "

" — I know", Hermione laughed, "I know, okay? I don't need to be reminded."

Ron swung his legs out of bed. "Coffee?", he asked.

"Coffee", Hermione agreed, watching his naked form retreat to the kitchen.

They had to stop ending up like this.
