Chapter 2: A Year of Friendship

Start from the beginning

Akaashi hesitated to speak for a good moment. He has never really stayed over anyone's house before. Keiji was more of the one to stay home and study and well just overall be a good kid, he didn't want to cause his mother and worry

"I'd have to ask my mom first but I don't mind, I just need to know when"

"Friday, the two idiots planned theirs this Friday"

Akaashi nodded as he opened his mouth to speak before being rudely interrupted

"Oi', Kenma! We're leaving!"

"Yeah Aghashee! Everyone's done cleaning up!"

The two second years sighed as they waved their goodbyes to eachother. The two idiotic third years gave eachothera hug before going their separate ways with their kohai.

~Time skip to Bokuto & Akaashi ride home~

Both Akaashi and Bokuto were sitting next to eachother as well as a few other third years from the team on their way home. All of them were laughing here and there as they spoke amongst eachother.

As time passed it was only Bokuto and Akaashi left in the train seeing how the other third years left at their stops already. Bokuto was going on and on about how Kuroo was being a jerk but that was normal. Akaashi only nodded as if he were listening to Bokuto but he was more zoned out than anything.

"Oh yeah! Aghashee, me and Ku-bro are having our bro night tomorrow! Do you think I should bring the owl onesie or owl pants!?" Bokuto asked eagerly, sadly people turned their attention towards them

"Bokuto-san quiet down, people are staring-" the second year muttered "Also I thought that was happening Friday?"

"Yeah! Tomorrow is Friday 'Gahshee!"

Akaashi froze as he quickly took out his phone. Tomorrow was Friday and not only that but he had something planned with his mom after school. He mentally cursed as he placed his phone away before being interrupted

"Aghashee, you never answered!" Huffed the owl look alike

"Bokuto-san why do you even own those items? I'd say the pants but knowing Kuroo-san he probably has a cat onesie so take the onesie"

"Alright thanks Aghashee!" Bokuto chirped happily before realizing they were at their stop.

Bokuto dragged Akaashi out and began to walk him home. The walk was quiet despite Bokuto randomly going 'Hey hey hey!' at birds. Once they arrived to Akaashi's house, Bokuto waved goodbye before heading to his house. He had a small happy hop to his walk which Akaashi simply rolled his eyes to. He unlocked hmthe front door as he stepped inside and removed his shoes.

"I'm home mom!" Akaashi called out as he set his shook bag to the side

"Welcome back Keiji, dinner is on the table. How was your day sweetie?"

Akaashi made his way to the dinner table as he looked at the freshly made pork cutlet bowl. He was about to eat until he realized he didn't answer his mom
