Adora's bare feet slapped against the metal ground softly as she walked down the hallway of the Fright Zone. She tried her best to make sure she was as quiet as she could be since it was very late at night, and wasn't suppose to be out of bed. She knew Shadow Weaver would be unhappy if she saw her out and about. But she wanted to see the kitten again. She had to see it again, to make sure it was okay. Adora walked for a few minutes before coming across the Fright Zone lunch room. After a moment, she came up with an idea.

"Maybe I should get the kitten a snack?" She whispers out loud to herself. She smiles at her own idea, and walked into the lunch room. As quiet as she could, she sneaks into the kitchen, and sees a stray ration bar all alone on the counter. Smiling, she reaches up and grabs the gray ration bar from the counter. She smiled and stuck it into her pocket for later. Not for herself of course, but for the maybe starving kitten. Lord only knows how long its been since the kitten has last eaten. Making her way out of the kitchen, she sees a few towels hanging up on a towel rack by the door. Adora walks over to the rack and reaches up for a towel. After a moment of trying to reach, she huffs and stomps her foot against the ground in anger. She paces for a moment before another idea comes to mind. Smiling again, she bends her knees and jumps as high as she can, and this time, grabs a towel down from the rack. The towel was purple with white dots on it. Adora brushed the towel with her fingers to get rid of any fuzz that may have been on it. Finally, having everything for the kitten, she makes her way out of the kitchen.

With a pep in her step, and a smile on her face, she makes her way back to the same spot she first saw the kitten. With a large grin, she lifts the box lid again. But much to her disappointment, the box is empty. No kitten in sight. The only thing that was left was the torn and dirty pink blanket. Adora sighs and sheds a tear. Wiping her tears with the purple, white dotted towel, she walks back inside of the Fright Zone. As she walks back to her bunk room, she stops in mid step. She couldn't move. She turns her head, she looks down a dark hallway. For some reason, the four year old felt compelled to walk down it. She wasn't sure why, but it was like she was being called down there. Adora shook her head, and goes back on her way.

*HISS*

Adora stops again, hearing a hiss echo down the dark hallway. Running back to the hallway, she looks down it again, and waits. A beat goes by, then another, and another. Yet no sound could be heard. Sighing again, she goes to turn away, her head hanging low.

*HISS*

Adora's head perked up as she heard the hiss once again. Wasting no more time, she runs down the dark hallway. The light from the door way behind her faded more and more the more she ran down the hallway, but she didn't care. She was a girl on a mission. Finally reaching the next door way, she sees Shadow Weaver and a Horde Solider talking, awhile the soldier held the kitten in one hand. He held the kitten by its shirt with his arm far from his body. Adora gulped and hid in the door frame, setting her things down watching the scene unfold in front of her.

"What have you brought to me?" Shadow Weaver growled from behind her red and black mask. Her black hair flowing high as she waited for an answer.

"I found this little beast in a box outside of the Fright Zone, Shadow Weaver." The soldier replied, a little afraid. The kitten hissed again, and tried to swipe its claws as the soldier.

"Feisty little beast she is." The solider commented, trying to dodge the kitten's claws. Shadow Weaver sighed and looked at the kitten.

"No doubt she will be nothing more then a distraction to the other children. I mean look at her. Clothes a mess, and can barely speak. Get rid of her immediately!" The soldier nodded and went to carry the kitten away. Adora felt tears drip down her cheeks as she ran from the door frame and hugged the soldier's leg.
