Chapter 2 A Wood in the Wardrobe
(Vivian's P.O.V.)

I awoke to someone shaking my shoulder, but still hanging on to the little bit of sleep I had left I kept my eyes closed.
"It's pouring rain and everyone is in the library." Edmund's voice informed me. Why was he waking me up?
"The only reason I'm even in here is because Susan told me to come and get you up." He spoke more to himself, but at least it answers my question.
"You look cute when you're asleep..." I heard him mumble. My whole body when into shock at this and it took all my willpower not to start blushing and fidgeting, thankfully I remained still. Even with all these thoughts speeding through my head, I managed to hear Edmund either slapping himself or covering his mouth and rushing out of the room. Once I figured he was far enough away I got up, got dressed, and headed to the library. When I got there I saw Edmund under a chair, looking slightly flustered. I pretended to not to hear his... Outburst -I'll call it- for his sake and mine.
"Look who's finally up." Peter joked once he noticed me. The rest of his siblings (sparing Edmund) laughed.
"Ha ha, very funny." I replied my voice dripping with sarcasm but still laughed along with them. I sat down next to Lucy watching Peter and Susan play a weird game with a huge dictionary.
"Gastrovascular. Come on Peter gastrovascular." Susan said, adding the last bit when Peter looked stumped.
"Is it Latin?" Peter asked. Honestly they call this a sort of game?
"Yes." Susan responded.
"Is it Latin for, worst game ever invented." Edmund joked looking out from under the chair. Earning a chuckle from everyone but Susan, who huffed and slammed the book closed.
"We could play hide and seek." Suggested Lucy. Yes please I'm going to die of boredom.
"But we're already having so much fun." Peter answered sarcastically looking at Susan who glared in return.
"C'mon Peter please!" She tried again holding onto his arm.
"Please!" I begged stretching out the word and latching myself onto his other arm.
"One two three..." He began grinning. Lucy and smiled at home while Edmund let out an aspirated "what!"
But still ran off with the rest of us. I took a sharp left and ran into an artifact room. Looking around for I place to hide I found a podium with a book on it. I hid behind it, it's three walls creating a sort of fortress around me. Peter will never find me here.
"Gotcha." Came a voice from behind me.
"Dang it Peter! How'd you even find me?" I asked getting out from my spot.
"You were giggling and talking out loud." He said matter-of-factly.
"Oh." I said embarrassed.
"Well c'mon then let's go find the oth-" He was cut off by someone yelling.
"It's alright! I'm back! I'm alright!" We both ran to find the source of the yells when we came across Lucy standing in the hallway with Edmund halfway out of his hiding spot behind the drapes.
"I don't think you two get the game of hide and seek?" Peter said walking up to them with me trailing behind.
"Weren't you wondering where I was?" Lucy asked extremely confused.
"That's the point. That is why he's seeking you." Edmund said to her coldly. I couldn't help but feel bad for her but why was she acting like this, it made no sense.
"Does this mean I win?" Asked Susan walking up from behind us.
"I've been gone for hours." Lucy told us looking at us like we were the ones not making any sense. How is that possible? It's only been a few minutes. After a few curios looks from the other Pevensie's she went into he story about finding a land called Narnia in the wardrobe and meeting a faun called Mr. Tumnus, and I -as crazy as it may sound- believe her. Something about the way she described Narnia, there is no way she could make it up. Also the names she said Narnia, Tumnus all sounded so familiar possibly because the faun was in a dream of mine, giving me the strange flute that I still have to this day.

"Lucy. The only wood in here is the back of the wardrobe..." Susan trailed off after pushing the coats aside and knocking on the wooden backing.
"One game at a time Lu, we don't all have your imagination." Said the eldest Pevensie.
"But I wasn't imagining!" Lucy argued.
"Lucy that's enough." Susan told her sternly.
"Well I believe you." Edmund said. I glared at him, knowing this was going to end badly. But he just smirked at me. I continued to glower at him in silence, knowing this wasn't my fight.
Lucy's face lit up,"You do?"
"Yeah, didn't I tell you about the football field in the bathroom cupboards." He said snickering at the end.
"Oh will you just shut up." Peter sneered, I had never seen him this angry.
"I was only joking." Edmund whined.
"Why can't you just learn to do as your told!" The blond boy yelled.
"Shut up! You think your dad but your not!" And with that Ed stormed out of the room.
"Oh great, now look what you've done." Susan huffed, following Edmund out of the room. Peter soon fallowed suit.
"Why doesn't anyone believe me?" Lucy asked herself, bottom lip trembling.
"I believe you." I told her truthfully. The young girl jumped most likely forgetting I was here.
"Then why didn't you tell them?" She accused.
"I know and I'm sorry but I didn't think it was right to put myself in that argument." I told her, she still didn't seem that convinced.
"How about this; tonight when everyone else is asleep we sneak through out to the wardrobe and see Mr.Tumnus." I told her getting down to her level an squeezing her shoulders. Lucy smiled and nodded finally knowing I wasn't just tricking her. We spend the rest of the evening giving each other mischievous glances, counting down the minutes until she got to show me Narnia.
