"Really? Great! Look forward to seeing you!" She shouted as she walked away. As soon as she was near the other Loser's, Richie started bombarding her with questions. She held up a hand, signaling Richie to stop.

"Beep beep, Richie." She said. Richie scowled.

"Well...?" He pleaded. She laughed.

"You'll find out tomorrow." She replied.

"What?! Tomorrow? Why tomorrow?!" He shouted. She rolled her eyes.

"Do you know how odd it would seem if I just walked up to them and started asking them what the best ways to ask them out would be? Have some patience." She said. Richie huffed and plopped on to the bench. He did not want to be patient.

"Hey (Y/n)!" You heard Beverly shout. You glanced up and waved. She slowly walked towards you and stood patiently as you grabbed your (f/c) bike. After kicking up the stand you slowly began to walk it with her standing by your side.

"So I was thinking we could start right away and then just have some catching up time afterward. That okay with you?" She asked. You gave a smile and nodded.

"We haven't talked in a while, after all." You replied. The walk home was surprisingly shorter than you remember, perhaps because there was someone there to help you pass the time. You set your bike up next to the large tree outside your house and grabbed the key from around your neck. You unlocked the door and led her up to your room. Beverly smiled and stared at your decorations.

"I see you've rearranged. (F/80's/b), huh?" She said and traced her hand over the poster. You gave a light laugh.

"Yeah. My (g/n)'s been working a lot lately so (s/h/t)'s got a bit of extra money." You replied with a smile. Beverly nodded and sat across from you.

"Let's start, shall we?"

After about an hour of tossing around questions both of you already knew, Beverly decided to take a break. She pushed aside the books and stared at you.

"So..." She started. You raised an eyebrow.

"So...?" You questioned. She laughed.

"I need to ask you something." She said. You nodded.

"What's up?" You asked. She sighed.

"So, I have a friend and he's, like, super in love with this person. And the person he likes is kinda similar to you, so i was wondering what romantic things you like. Maybe it'll give him some better insight." She said. You sat back and gave it a few minutes thought.

"Well, personally, I like guys who notice the small things. Ones who point out the tiniest details that just make you smile, ya know?" You replied. She nodded.

"Oh, and when they take something you don't like about yourself and tell you that they love it." You added. Beverly gave a small laugh.

"That's really cheesy. Cute, but cheesy." She said. You laughed before shrugging.

"We should get back to math."

Richie waited by the bike rack looking around frantically for Beverly. He waited hours (actually just minutes) for her to arrive. After seeing her mop of red hair he ran over so quickly that he dropped his bike, causing the others to fall over.

"Where have you been? We agreed on eight!" He shouted. Beverly rubbed her forehead.

"Richie, it is literally 8:07." She replied. He crossed his arms.
