to see,
A person so close,
Drowning,
while I'm still a shore,
But when did this all happen?
Maybe theres a chance,
that I could get her out of the water,
Or at least able to breath?
The waters starting to grow heavy on my shoulders now though too,
For its hard to save someone from drowning,
without drowning yourself.
But I know how to swim,
and I know how to be dry again,
So I get my head above water.
And finally reach her,
She grabs my hand and we start to swim back to shore together,
Its going to be a long journey.
But we'll make it through.
I know how to swim.
