"Can you feel it?" I asked while we both stare at the night sky. It's supposed to be dark but a million stars make everything so clear and bright.

"What exactly?" He responded, completely emotionless.

"The cold wind," I replied as I closed my eyes, feeling the coldness of the wind that hits every single inch of my skin.

"I can."Again, an emotionless response from him. I opened my eyes as I heard his answer. He's closing his eyes as if trying hard to feel the wind while I stare at him and smile.

"So you can feel? You're not numbing now Mr.Numby!" I said with a joyful tone in my voice.

"You're so dumb, dumby
." He said still closing his eyes. My smile faded. I look up at the night sky once again, I held his hand and put it on my upper chest, where my heartbeat is.

"How about this Mr.Numby, can you feel it?."
I asked for the second time hoping for a positive response from him. I heard a silent laugh so I look at him still closing his eyes.

"Did I throw a joke? Don't laugh like that I'm serious." I said, kinda' disappointed with the response I
got.

"You'll call me a pervert if I'll tell you what I can feel right now." Pervert. He may be numb but's he's also pervy sometimes.

"So should I call you Mr.Pervy now?" I rolled my eyes and pushed away his hand from my chest.

"It's your heartbeat, dumby. I felt it." He said this time it has a meaning and it made me smile.

"Know that this only beats for you."
I said pointing to my chest while we stare at each other's eyes. Under the night sky filled with stars, feeling the cold wind with the perfect scent of the seashore; He held my hand and went silent for a minute.

"Although this doesn't beat for you anymore?" At that very moment, I felt numb. Feeling his heartbeat while he said those words, I went blank and felt numb for the first time.
