Karan- (sighed) Aaj se thik 6 saal pehle, iss waqt Shalu ki shaadi ho rahi thi... Ek aise insaan se jo insan kehlaane ke bhi layak nahi... Uske liye paise se badh kar kuch nahi.. kuch bhi nahi! Paiso ke liye kisi bhi haad tak gir sakta hai! Shalu se shaadi bhi wo bas property ke liye hi kar raha tha...

Pata nahi kaise usne uncle (Shalini's father) ko impresse kar liya tha... Mujhe suru se uspe doubt tha aur mera shak bilkul sahi tha... Shaadi se kuch ghante pehle mujhe uski asliyat ka pata chala... Mai wo file lekar nikal hi raha tha par tabhi kisi ne mere sar par var kiya aur mai behosh ho gaya... Hosh aate hi maine Shalu ko contact kiya aur shaadi todne ke liye kaha... Jab tak mai office ka tala tod ke venue par pahuncha... Shalu ki bidai ho rahi thi... Thodi der ke liye mera dimag sunn ho gaya...

Uspe Danish ki devil smile dekh mujhe gussa aa gaya.. Mujhe apne failure par ya Shalu ne meri warning ignore kar di ya kis baat ka gussa tha mai nahi jaanta... Par kehte hai na ki gussa me liya gaya faisla aksar galat hota hai.. That's exactly what happened here... Mai bhul gaya tha ki mudda Shalu ki life ka hai... Kisi ka sahi-galat hona matter nahi karta... Par maine gusse me sab nazarandaz kar diya aur sab chhor kar chala gaya!

Danish janta tha ki mai uske office jarur jaunga isliye usne intentionally wo file mere hath lagane di aur mujhe wahan trap kar diya jisse mai uske liye koi problem na create kar sakoon... Mera call bhi ussi ne receive kiya tha aur sabse jhoot bol diya ki mujhe koi urgent kaam hai isliye Mera wait na kare... Jab tak mujhe meri galtiyo ka ehsaas hua bahut der ho chuka tha!

As Karan finished, there was complete silence in the room. Finally Gunny broke the silence.
Gunny- Par aaj exactly hua kya?

Karan- Iss sawal ka jawab toh wahi de sakti hai... (He stood up) Mai abhi aata hu... Par tum log Shalini ko matt batana ki tum sab uske past ke bare me jante ho.. (All nodded positively.)

Meanwhile....
Shalini was visualising her whole life in front of her eyes. She's lost her mother at tender age, after that she always tried to stay cheerful & happy for her father's sake. (Her eyes became moist) She decided to join army as a doctor, her father half-heartedly gave her permission. She completed her trainings & joined army as a "captain". She got badly injured in one rescue mission at the war field. When she recovered, her father convinced her for marriage as he's hell worried about her, he thought that if she'd get married she'll think about herself first before jumping into dangerous missions. (Tears began to roll down her cheeks) Her father was a heart patient, he emphasized on his age & health, so she deliberately agreed to that only to make her life miserable.
