It went over the net just barely and landed on Ibuyasha's side.

"Oop." I commented and served the ball again.

Well this is getting boring. I pouted as I thought about it.

Suddenly, all of their players started moving at the same time.

Ooo, a synchronised attack. Something exciting finally.
But it's so easy to predict their moves. They're definitely going to spike from the left.

Both her and Satsuki blocked the spike in a split second.

"Should I use the new serve?" I asked Zoe.

"Maybe not, we're only at our third point. If you're our server in our 20th point then you can use the new serve." Zoe advised.

"Okay~" I smiled and caught the ball.

I serve the ball normally and waited for the ball to come back on our side.

"Sakura!" The captain shouted.

Their setter nodded and tossed the ball to the captain.

She then spiked it with more power than the previous set and it almost landed between Zoe and I.

I quickly received it and watched as it went back to their side.

"Chance ball!" Their libero shouted and received it.

"Mou ikai!" The captain shouted.

Their setter tossed the ball to her again from the center to the right.

Fumiko tried to block it but unfortunately couldn't as the ball had too much force.

I saw her smirk at me and I gladly smirked back.

"Game on." I said.

Their #7 served the ball and it headed towards Akari.

"Nice receive." Satsuki said after Akari had received it.

Satsuki then tossed the ball to Miyumi. She wasn't our best setter but her skills were still great.

"Mizuki!" Their captain shouted.

The girl named Mizuki received the ball and passed it to their setter.

"Center!"

Satsuki and Miyumi immediately jumped, but only realised that it was a time lag attack.

"Zoe!" Akari shouted.

Zoe immediately dived, taking out her right hand and saved the ball.

"Fumiko-chan!"

Fumiko positioned herself and took a quick glance at the other side.

"Akari!" Satsuki shouted.

Fumiko understood and tossed it to Satsuki. She immediately did a cross and landed back on the ground.

"Yeah!" Satsuki cheered and high-fived Miyumi.

Miyumi doesn't even give me high-fives. Meanie.

"Nice serve!" Akari shouted as Satsuki served it.

"Got it!" The captain shouted.

The ball then headed towards their setter again.

"Mizuki!" Their setter called.
