So, to me Bellatrix would be the perfect Hufflepuff villian. She doesn't show any ambition during the series, but the biggest point of her personality is how loyal she is to Voldemort and to her distorted beliefs. And we can't deny she works hard, see the Longbottoms! I know she wouldn't want to be there, but I refuse to believe the sorting hat at least didn't think about it.
