Meet Dominique. She’s sixteen, cries over fan-fiction, procrastinates, and plays League of Legends. A typical teenager, yes? Nope. Well, in a way, yes. But in another way, no. She doesn’t have those cliche crushes and lame school dramas. In fact, she has crushes on idols. Kpop idols to be exact. Those pretty Asian boys that wear skinny jeans and make up? Yes, those pretty boys. She is extremely dedicated as well. She has read every well known fan fiction about her favorite groups, bought all the albums, has loads of merchandise, and even makes plushies. If that isn’t true dedication then I don’t know what is.

Oh, have I not introduced myself? I’m Minique. I’m kind of like Dominique’s conscious, but I have a mind of my own and can do whatever. Except I can’t really do anything. You could call me the narrator or ehem, the Queen, whichever you prefer(P.S. I like the Queen better). Anyways, back to Dominique. She’s a fangirl and yada, yada, yada. We good here? Great! Where was Dominique again?

“Ow!” Dominique screamed when her little brother’s baseball was thrown at the back of her sleeping head. “GET OUT, YOU BRAT!” she screamed once more and the frightened seven year-old scurried out of the room.

“I’m sorry, oppa, I didn’t mean to scream into your face.” she apologised to the large poster of Byun Baekhyun on the wall she was facing. She also began apologising to every other poster nearest to her. She was weird, wasn’t she?

“Dom! Come down for breakfast!” she heard her lovely mother call from down the stairs.

“Alright mom!” she yelled back while tying her medium black hair into a messy bun on the top of her head. She would be wearing her new red jeans and white graphic tee- something she had taken from Gee.

As she ran down the stairs a subtle scent is cinnamon meet her nose and called out to her. Come eat me, it cooed. You may not know, but Dominique had somewhat of an obsession over the bittersweet spice. She sprinkled(more like dumped) the stuff on almost everything. Let’s just say that she could have done the cinnamon challenge and enjoyed it.

So, of course the smell of the stuff enticed her. She ran towards the kitchen and saw her sitting at her kitchen counter like she belonged there. Dom thought otherwise- in fact, she hated her guts, but she was family so Dom had to be nice to her. But she really was a pain in the butt.

“Annyeonghaseyo unnie!” she squeaked in her annoyingly high pitched voice.

“Hello Jo Eun.” Dom greeted her with a somewhat sarcastic smile.

Jo Eun was Dominique’s five-month-younger cousin. She was a 17 year old weirdo that might look kawaii, but she was like a little demon. I’m sure she didn’t try to be annoying and horrible-

“Wow, your breath is disgusting, unnie! Haha, I’m telling all my friends how you don’t brush your teeth!” Nevermind, she was horrible. And who was she to say that? Her breath smelled like rotten cheese an- Okay, enough of her, Minique does not enjoy thinking about the vermin in Jojo’s oral cavity.

“Umma? Are those perhaps… cinnamon rolls?” Dominique asked with her face squished against the oven door.
