A/N so you know how I said in the beginning that his eyes were black. That will be explained later in the story. This is also starting when he's in middle school. He will be in Highschool later in the story.
Akaashi's P.O.V
I don't like school. People were always so mean to me because of my eyes. Theirs were vibrant colors green, blue, red, and purple. But mine were just a bland black. People say it's because I'm empty. They say that my eyes are probably a fly or something like that. It's gone on since the 3rd grade. I only had my grandpa. He was always so kind to me. He would say how my eyes reminded him of the night sky. Akaashi always thought his eyes were nothing but emptiness. But when his grandpa said those words, he saw a different version of himself. He saw the versions of his eyes that spread across the horizon. The one that's so beautiful people can't help but feel jealous. It was sort of a newfound pride. The pride didn't last long. When he was 14 his grandpa died if a stroke. Kids started to bully him once again. He couldn't smile anymore. His life was falling into darkness.
Graduation Day
It was finally the day. Akaashi was standing on the stage with a paper in hand that told everyone that he had finished middle. It was a pretty boring ceremony to be honest. But one person on the stage interested him. He had well toned skin, pretty good muscle's. But his hair was very...different. It was sticking straight up in two different directions. It looked like a snow owl. I didn't know I was staring at him until he walked over. "Congrats on making it through the year," he said smiling. "My names Bokuto Kotaru." I wasn't really listening to what he was saying. I was staring at his eyes. They were a beautiful yellow cooler. And they were sharp like when you look at them they're looking into his soul. "Helloooo. You there." I snapped out of my thoughts. "Uh yeah sorry. What were you saying." He smiles again. "I was saying good job making it through the year,it's my last one. And my name is Bokuto Kotaru." He said all this never looking at my eyes. I was grateful, but it was probably became someone told him they were ugly.
"Oh well thank you and likewise. I hope you had a great year. My name is Akaashi Keji, second year." "Beautiful name," said Bokuto with light blush on his face. He tried to look into my eyes. I quickly closed them before he could. "Sorry I have to go."
I was about to leave when he grabbed my hand. "Wait, can I get your number?" We exchanged numbers and left the school.
I never saw Bokuto after that day. I missed him and thought about it the whole time I was gone. During summer I had to go back to my parents. I never really like them. They thought I was a disgrace to the family name because of my eyes. My moms eyes were as bright as the sun, and my fathers were as blue as the ocean. They still don't know how mine are black. Nobody exept me actually. I had to go with my parents because my mother wanted me to model for her company. Even though I said no they forced me. I hated every second of it. I instantly was popular and people drooled over me. I finished my third year of middle school, and the same thing happened that summer. I just wanted things to be normal again. But luckily I get to enroll in a new school.
