Me and Ruby were at dust till dawn mainly because she just wanted to look at the weapons others had in those stupid magazines

Ruby: bro look this weapon turns into a giant hammer and also a huge Lazer

Y/n: that's nice Ruby

Ruby: you don't sound pumped up about it come on give me a smile

She smiled at me wanting me to mimic the gesture but I just kept a monotone look and grunted it off

before the thug even realized what happened I threw him out the window then another one came towards me and Ruby

Ruby took care of him and also threw him out the window and I followed her to make sure she wouldn't get injured

Thugs started coming at us but they couldn't even compare to me I easily dodged every strike and shot that came my way then when one thug came at me head on I simply stared at him and multiple punches sent him flying back into the dust shop unconscious

Ruby took care of her set of thugs pretty well

He shot a red ball of most likely fire dust at us while Ruby moved out of the way I grabbed it and threw it into the sky and it went off with a small underwhelming explosion

But unfortunately he used that time to get to a ladder and made his way up

Ruby: you mind if we go after him?

The old man just nodded his head while I already flew up to the rooftop while Ruby used her speed semblance

???: Persistent aren't you?

Then a bullhead came up

???: well red and steroids I must bid you farewell

He shot once more but before I could do anything about it a huntress came and shielded us from the attack

She began using her weapon which was an odd riding crop and sent debris at the bullhead while Ruby shot at it I began charging an attack until someone with a red dress and an orange glow to it began throwing fire and other stuff at us

Y/n: this is a waste of time

I shot out my attack but the pilot was able to duck the bullhead but when the blast went off it sent a shockwave that made the bullhead out of control in a desperate attempt to escape the girl with a dress shot one final attack that made the ground explode but I grabbed Ruby and the huntress up off the ground before that happened and the bullhead got away

Y/n: I'm glad you're safe Ruby

Ruby: thanks bro

Then Ruby immediately ran up to the huntress
