Dear People of 2020,
Have you ever feel like you're ready for the reality but the things that keeps you ready are out of your grasped? Like the reality is not ready for you yet?
ווווווווווווו×
So how do I start this thing? Well I guess I'll start with a cliché introduction that you always hear.
Hello, I am Evans and I'm 18 years old. I live in Seattle and I just graduated in Senior High with High Honour. I'm an Athlete and a part of Volleyball team. Lets not continue further since it will only get boring.
I always planned things, I love to keep it that way. I love instructions but lately, things have been changing like sometimes I feel like I'm being punished or maybe it's just the sad part of reality.
I'm confused.
I'm tired.
I never felt what a depression feels like.
I never hate anything or anyone.
Never have a boyfriend.
Never thought I'll get one.
Still single.
Still virgin.
But I'm not virtually virgin anymore since I've been doing crazy things in social media platforms.
So lets get started shall we? Since you already know the 1/8 portion of my reality. I'm pretty sure you'll know the whole me soon.
How does a college freshman student start his day?
Tip number 1.
The never ending pancake and orange juice but you'll miss it once you leave it.
The pancake taste pretty fine but eating it everyday? I'm sure you'll pass and just go take coffee outside but things are different now, you're in college, you'll cook and feed yourself. You'll apply to a work for income and last thing is you'll be free or hoping being free is worthy.
Tip number 2.
Look around for a boy–opportunity and condoms.
Isn't college supposed to be fun and a place where you get to explore new things? Well I'm trying to be part of it or at least trying.
Tip number 3.
Do NOT forget your room key.
Pretty basic...
There are many tips to follow but I'll just end it there for now and in 2 seconds, I'll start to hear my Mom telling me to get ready for my 7 hours drive with my best friend.
"Evan, Jonathan is waiting here you better come downstairs now sweetie." Isn't my Mom the sweetest? Oh no, don't tell her that and do not boost her ego or you'll not be able to leave the house without eating her cookies.
"I'll be down in a minute Mom!" Getting ready for the reality sounds fun yet it feels so terrifying. After minutes of deciding whether to bring my lemon pillow or the strawberry pillow. I decided to bring both because why not?
"Ohhh thank goodness, I thought I'll have to wait another hour of you deciding which pillow to bring." And that's Jonathan, the most annoying person who loves making my life fun and content, not in a love way. He's straight and outgoing kind of person while I, on the other hand loves staying indoor, reading novels and watching Netflix for hours straight.
"We'll be going now Mom, I'll call when we reach the college. Love you!"
I need to go before she end up crying and me not leaving.
"My my, you're getting old now!" And there you go, she cried. Dad comport her right after he helped me put the bags inside the car.
"Honey, it's part of growing up. I'm sure Evans will call us. Son, be safe and drive carefully. I love you son, call when you need something or some advice." Dad is a psychologist while my mom is a baker. She owns a story that sells sweet downtown while my dad works in his own office, dealing with life problems and motivational advice.
"Love you too dad." I hugged both of them before going on with my journey and entering the road of reality.
While on the road, Jonathan has been very quiet since him and his 2 years girlfriend broke up. His girlfriend can't do LDR because it doesn't work more often.
"So what do you think of the university Jonathan." He's still scrolling on his phone, definitely reading messages.
"Can't wait for it, I signed up for the swimming team, my parents insist since my papa was also part of the swim team back when he was in college." Jonathan is the product of two guys who fell in love with each other. He has two amazing dads. They're so cool and fun to talk with. His parents and I always go out whenever we have time or after the sport league.
"I think I'll change sport. I wanna try something new aside from volleyball." Volleyball is my favourite sport but I want to learn new things too. I don't want to settle down on playing volleyball without trying other sports.
"What sport is on your mind?" He stopped scrolling on his phone and looks for a new music to play. He loves music, in fact, that is how we both met. Him and I were partners in music class. His papa knows many instruments so he invited me over his house and that's how our friendship started.
"Football"
"........Are you insanely serious? You can't even lift a pen!" He's so dramatic, he got that from his Dad, who is I believe plays football when he was in college.
"We both know that's not true! Remember when I punched Dexter because he laughed when they heard you have to dads?" Greatest memory of all time with a very bad ending because my parents confiscated my iPad.
"Look, punching and football are different things." He reasoned but I cut him of with my famous stare that will make you stop talking. I got that from my Mom. Thanks Mom.
"First, football is a violent game that was run by rules. I think it will be safe if I stay following those rules. Second is what do you want for drink? There's a store that sells coffee and sweets according to Google." I almost forgot that he was so dramatic to the point he will not stop lecturing me about football and its threats so I gotta end this discussion with a coffee.
"Anything as long as it's sugar free." He said while going back on scrolling his phone. I swear he's much more gayer than me.
"Are you sure you're not gay?" I asked because maybe he's gay and just hiding it? But nah I doubt it. He had many girlfriend in the past and they love to fool around. Cringe.
"What made you asked that?" He's now back playing subway surf.
"No reasons." I responded and that's how our trip went for the rest of the drive. 3 hours away from now and we will jabe y<<<
