When it all began

It started out innocent, just playing around. But then feelings were caught.. But only on one side of the spectrum... One one had caught the feelings... And that dumbass was me... "Ace! Hey wait up can I tell you something?" I yell as I try to catch up to him. "Yo, what's up Noah?" He asked as he put his arm around my shoulders, I look down and blush a little stuttering as I try to talk, "So, u-uh Ace! We've been hanging out a lot lately and i- uh- I really, really like y-you Ace... It's o-okay if you d-don't feel the s-same" Ace looks directly at me, but I continue to stare at the ground. "Uh, so.. What do you want to do today?" He changed the subject I thought to myself. His arm was no longer hanging on my shoulders, his hands were now in his pockets. I put my sweatshirt on and pulled my hood up over my head as we sat down by a basketball court, I curled up into a ball and refused to look at anyone or even come out of my tiny ball formation. Ace had already picked up a basketball and started running around and shooting hoops, yelling every time he missed. It had gotten dark faster than I thought, and without a word a silently walked home alone, keeping my sweatshirt on even though it was the middle of summer. I went straight to bed as soon as I got home, without a word to my parents. I had slept until noon even though I had went to bed at eight the night before. I turned on my phone and I had a few texts from Ace... But only one I could read... "I'm sorry I avoided what you said yesterday, I like you a lot too, meet me at the park around 2:30" my heart was racing and my blood was pumping I had to go meet him, I found one of my prettiest dressed and put it on with a pair of heels, I even did my makeup and threw my hair up into a bun leaving my bangs out. I was met with a kiss, a kiss of a thousand lies! I wasn't safe anymore because this dumbass fuckboy drew me in!
