yamaguchi didn't really want to join the band but tsuki insisted he join because he had an amazing voice , which flattery can get you somewhere especially for yams. he decided to help tsuki start the band at the young age 14 , of course it wasn't that serious until they got into highschool and started s.h.i.t (explanation below). yamaguchi has always been shy about singing and especially because he was bullied for his face , though tsuki became friends with him and they would listen to music together and talk about dinosaurs all night long .
(yes tsuki made the name of the band that because yamaguchi wanted something sweet and cute so he said . . . " how about sugar honey iced tea ? ” “ that sounds super cute ! ” “ ha , it's s h i t ” )
