A oneshot story by cutieee_kaori
It was past midnight and we're still traveling along the highway through our destination. A summer resthouse owned by the family of one of my friend, Celine.
I'll sing whatever song comes to mind, screaming at the top of my lungs while enjoying the midnight breeze touching my face and swaying my hair coming through the open window of our traveling van.
It's almost 12:45 AM when we arrived at the said resthouse. It's not huge, but its old and antique features make it somehow enchanted and eerie at the same time.
Si Celine, which is the owner of the resthouse we will staying in for three days, lead our group all the way inside.
From the switches of lights, living room, at maging ang kwartong tutuluyan namin.
It's really tiring but worth it though because 1 had experienced to travel together with my friends in the cold and silent road. Maraming mga naka-hangs na painting, lumang furnitures, hanging lamps, and other antique stuffs you can be found here.
I checked out my phone to see if Jerry has already texted me. He said that he would inform if he's on his way here.
"Wala pa, but I'm sure he's already on his way.
Even though I know he's just joking, I've texted him anyway. Pag-sent ko ng message ay saktong may nag-appear na isang text mula kay Jerry saying that they've already past the San Carlos' bridge. And immediately replied to my text that he'd actually brought some sweets from his big sister's wedding.
"Uyy!
I let out a hearty chuckle. Everyone knows what I and Jerry's relationship so they don't bother to interrogate what's going on between us. Jerry is my childhood friend, we grew up together as a bestbuddies of each other. Went to the same grade school, and highschool, and now we will graduating at the same college with a same course.
When everyone gathers around the living room. We had some talks together over a cup of coffee and a plate of some sandwiches. Celine told a story on how this house almost fall to ruin during a World War II. It also had an interesting dark past that we all agreed to talk about. Everyone pays attention to Celine as she unfold some creepy stuffs about their resthouse.
"Seventeen years had past and this house became a home for my dad and his family. They had lived here for almost a decade and everyone seemed enjoying their living here.
