Jades Pov...
The hospital smell will never leave my mind. My mom passed away a few weeks ago and what do I get? I get to live with my father that I don't even know. He lives in Florida which means I'll have to start school in the middle of the year. And my dad also has a new girlfriend but I won't call anyone mom anymore. The only good thing about going is I finally get to meet my brother. I've heard stories about him but never met him.
"You have an early flight tomorrow so get some rest." My aunt said coming in my room.
"Yes ma'am." I said as she walked out.
I've been living with my aunt since my mom died. She has to many kids so I can't stay with her or else I would.
"Gosh!" I said rubbing my eyes.
Until tomorrow.
Jahsehs POV...
"Keep acting up and I'm kicking you out!" My mom yelled as she slammed my door.
"Whatever!" I yelled jumping into my bed.
I loved her but in her eyes I was a screw up. I can never meet up to her expectations. It's fine though, one day my music will blow up and change people lives.
One day.
Next morning...
Jades POV...
"Get up jade! We gotta go!" I heard my aunt yell.
I opened my eyes and seen her standing in front of my bed.
"Ok ok I'm up!" I laughed.
I got up and did my morning things. I threw on a neon green cropped top with some black cargo pants and my micheal kors boots.
"Alright I'm ready to go!" I yelled grabbing all my stuff.
I walked down stairs and seen my aunt standing by the door. All my cousins really didn't care for me so she was kinda all I had left. I smiled at her and we went to the car.
Jahsehs POV...
"Man I don't wanna go to school tomorrow!" Ski said throwing himself on his bed.
"Man you always complaining about something fatty." I laughed.
"Whatever." He said rolling his eyes.
"Plus I heard there's gonna be a new kid tomorrow..." I said looking at him.
"Man since when do we care about any new kids? It ain't gonna matter if it's a girl cuz you're with geneva and well I don't really need a girl." He shrugged.
I sighed at the sound of Geneva's name being mentioned. I loved her I really do but she mistreats me. I try and give her the world but nothings ever enough for anybody anymore.
