I straightened my back, positioned my hands over the laptop keyboard, and took a deep breath, hoping the smell of coffee would drive me to be productive. This is the first time I didn't sit on my usual spot in this café, which for me was uncomfortable.
I lose my shit when I dive out of my routine.
But that's just a lame excuse. Maybe I just have to quit denying that I'm experiencing a...
"Writer's block?" a male voice uttered, pulling me out of my thoughts.
As a reflex, I looked over to my shoulder to put a face to the sound that sent chills down my spine - chiseled face, brown eyes, with his hair long enough to be tucked behind his ears and a slight smirk visible from the corner of his lips. He looks so... stunning.
Hey Theo, SNAP OUT OF IT!!
"W-who are you!?" I blurted out, leaning away from his face.
"No one." he said while shifting his gaze on me. I could feel the heat rush to my face, I've been told I have a pretty good blood circulation. I froze and watched him fix the strap of the backpack he was carrying on his left shoulder, until he stood back up to walk away.
I was left there, dumbfounded. And also distracted.
That was it. Our first encounter.
