It was a normal day, woke up, brushed my teeth, got dressed, had breakfast, and went to work.

I work at a restaurant as a waiter, I said my hellos to my coworkers and started my shift.

I worked for about thirty minutes before I heard screaming from outside and heard several sirens from the streets just down the road.

"What's going on?" I asked my coworker Sarah and she shrugged her shoulders. Just as I was to say something else, several police officers burst through the restaurant doors with guns drawn on us.

People started screaming and crying. "Nobody move!" One of the police officers shouted at us. "What's going on?" I heard my coworker Sarah say in a trembling voice but the officers ignored her.

An officer held up his hand to quiet down the screaming of the terrified customers and other workers. "Quiet down!" He shouted and a man stepped out in front of the officers from the crowd of terrified customers. "Not until you tell us what's going on." He said and  one of the officers eyebrows lifted and pointed the gun directly at me and pulled he trigger.
