You were staring at yourself in the bathroom's mirror, furrowing your eyebrows. A sigh escaped your lips. Your complex about your body could not leave your mind. Despite taking care of it more than when you were in the human world, by using Asmo's beauty products, you still felt disgusted by some part of your body. You played with the dark rings under your eyes. You barely had any sleep last night. Your brain decided to play tricks on you and make you remember all the parts of yourself that you hated. You cursed at your own brain and sighed again.

You walked out of the room, fully dressed for the day. You decided to cover yourself and not let much skin be seen. You did not feel comfortable with your body today and you feared others' reactions more than anything else at the moment. The day was off so you did not need to wear your uniform, fortunately for you. You walked to the dining room and joined the brothers who were already eating.

"Good morning," you greeted them and sat between Levi and Mammon. They greeted you back with a smile. You looked at your food, finding it untasty.

"You're not gonna eat, [name]?" Beel asked eagerly. You were surprised by the attention you were suddenly getting. You shook your head and handed him your plate.

"I'm not really hungry this morning."

You noticed Satan's worried look. "Are you sick or something? You usually don't miss a meal."

You averted his gaze awkwardly. "I just ate too many snacks before sleeping and now, I don't feel the hunger coming up."

Lucifer sighed. "You should not eat snacks right before sleeping, especially late."

"Unless you're sharing them with me," added Beel with a grin. Lucifer told him off, explaining to him that it was not good for you, but the Avatar of Gluttony could not care less.

As they went on, you noticed that Asmo was awfully quiet for once. You looked at him and caught on his stare. He had been looking at you like he was analyzing something. "That won't do!" he finally exclaimed. He stood up from his chair, everyone in the room watching him.

Suddenly, he extended a hand to you and grabbed you by the wrist. You could hear Mammon's protests behind you but that did not stop Asmo from dragging you out of here. He stayed silent while walking despite your questions. You knew where you were headed, after all, he dragged you here several times. Asmo opened the door to his room and carefully closed it behind.

You loved the demon's room. In your opinion, it was the prettiest room in the House of Lamentation. It made you at ease to be in an environment like this. Asmo brought a second chair to his dressing table and mentioned for you to sit down. You obliged without a word, and faced him on the chair.

"You should take better care of yourself, [name]! I told you that already, haven't I?" Asmo gently scolded you as he took out his makeup.

You gulped, becoming nervous all of a sudden. "S-sorry."

Asmo kept a smile on while he was preparing different beauty product for you. He hummed a bit as he was working on your face. "We should change your outfit too! I can't have you wear something so unfashionable."

You glanced away shyly. "I'm... not sure about that," you admitted.

He stopped his movement to stare at you carefully. "Why's that?" he asked with curiosity. You usually never refused Asmo's suggestions when it came to pamper you and make you feel like a princess. You felt awful for refusing his offer.

"I'm just... more comfortable like this."

You could feel Asmo's eyes bearing holes in the back of your neck when you turned your face away. You closed your eyes, trying your best to hold back your tears. Suddenly, you felt a pair of hands landing on top of yours. You glanced down at your laps and saw Asmo's gentle grip on them. When you looked back at him, you saw a reassuring grin plastered on his beautiful face.

"[name]," he called your name. "You can talk to me." He paused a bit, stroking your hands with his thumb. "I noticed your eyes were a bit red and puffy when you arrived. Did something happen?"

You could not lie to him, not when he already noticed. "Nothing really... It's just... my brain being stupid."

The demon visibly seemed confused at your comment so you proceeded to explain to him your feelings.

You explained your worries, your insecurities, your feelings. You felt like you could confess anything to him. He was the first being to make you feel this way. You would tell him about your past experiences, how you were scared of people's eyes. Your heart felt light after this small but meaningful conversation. Asmo had listened to your every words, never stopping you once. You could tell he was serious about it and it just made you so happy. Once you were finished, Asmo frowned and crossed his arms.

"I can't believe it! Why would people make fun of the second most beautiful being?! They clearly need an eye check!"

You chuckled a bit. You looked back down to Asmo's grip and grabbed his hands in return. He looked surprised by your move. "Thank you for listening, Asmo."

Asmo enlanced his fingers with yours. "No problem, sweetie~! But you know, I mean it when I said your beautiful, [name]. Don't let others tell you anything else. Just be yourself, alright~?"

You nodded with a grin. "You're right. Maybe one day I'll be as beautiful as you."

Asmo nodded with a hum. "You're already pretty close behind~"

You giggled together. You stayed like this for a few minutes, enjoying each other companies. You were happy to have someone as Asmo part of your life. You wished to stay by his side as long as possible. "So, what outfit were you going to suggest?"

Asmo's face lit up. "Follow me~ I bought this recently for you! I wanted you to try it~"

You spent the rest of your day off with the Avatar of Lust, trying various clothes and new body lotions that the demon bought the day before. You felt like the luckiest person, finally finding a place to belong.
