Hi my name is Alexa Smith, and me my mom and my 8 year old little brother are moving to a small town away from the big city to get away from my abusive father and bullies. "Where are we going" Carter said "Where's dad?" Me and my mom looked at each other "Where going away for a little while" mom said quickly "ok well Where's dad " he said innocently "he died" I said quickly but questionable "what! Dad died why didn't we go to his funeral" I rolled my eyes kids ask so many questions "just sit back and enjoy the ride sweetie" mom said and he Did just that
One hour later
We pulled up to this

"Omg it's so tall" Carter said with his jaw on the ground . The thing is me and my mom have been planning this for about 8 months ever since my dad first hit me he has been beating my mom for 3 years when he lost his job. But me and Carter was clueless. I mean I knew he was drinking but didn't know he was beaten on my mom. So we started saving money so we can get house away from that asshole and we had to make sure that it was fully furnished we had one for an 17 year old girl a 8 year old boy and a woman "are you ready" mom said opening the door " just open it mom" I said so dramatic "omg" Carter said "well while your looking around I'll go find my room" I said running to the stairs I ran up and found the second biggest room "na nani boo boo" I said shutting "well I'll just get the big room" " no you don't that's mine Carter you have to get the one down the hall " I was dying I went around my room looking omg I have my own bathroom I love this house
30 minutes later
"Mom I'm done unpacking" I said walking down the stairs "ok well you have two choices you can stay here and watch your brother and I'll go to the grocery store or you both can come with me" she said while putting on her shoes " oh I'm coming with you there is no way I'm watching that demon seed" u Said putting on my shoes "Carter let's go" mom said grabbing her purse " where are we going" Carter said " I swear if you ask that question again I will take your game " " mom say something " he said putting on his shoes " I'm sorry honey but she right your the child so next time I say we're about to leave just put on your shoes and go out the door and into the car and be quite" she said going out the door I was behind him trying my hardest not to laugh but I couldn't I AM going to hold that over head for the rest of his life
